Epiks boots not real suede ;( I stupidly put Uni's boots on top of the space heater to dry them out bc they got really wet. I forgot about them and bf pointed out that the glue was coming off (my fault) and the "suede" started melting off. Not really melting, but kind of like threadbare now. I was always thinking that epiks used real suede on their boots that's how I could justify over $10 for EACH boot. I just checked their website and it says "microsuede" To me that doesn't really tell me its fake suede, and to the unknowing person, could be small grained suede. Or am I just dumb. I still love the boots though, just wished they were real leather/suede. The soles are ok still, I held them together until the started to stick back together.:(:(:(:( |
Where did you purchase them? |
That sucks. Are they still in usable condition? I wonder about the microsuede thing. If you can't tell then, who will tell me if my stuff is fake or real? :p |
I got them from a seller from ebay, I don't remember the user name. They are still very usable, but just a bit bummed. :( |
Aaaah, Cpt. Noonie...microsuede is a term for a textile. Sorry I can't call you d:aimeeyorkmb...you just didn't know what that meant...lol;) |
Actually microsuede can be more expensive than suede, it's popular because you can wash it. Real suede is very difficult to clean, and you really can't ever get it wet. |
