Choke-Free harness
 
My Kodie is 11" girth (right behind legs) - should I go up a size to 12" for the Choke-Free harness?

Any input you can provide regarding sizing will be greatly appreciated.

What harness are you talking about? They seem to all be a bit different with sizing. Cindy, Chattiesmom makes the silk step in harness and matching leashes that we just love. All she needs are certain measurments and you choose the color and also with or without Swarvorski crystals. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...-foxypups.html

Yes, it tells you on their web page to add an extra inch. ;)

Are you talking about this one? I was told when I bought mine that if the measurement is between two sizes, go up to the next size.

Yes, that's the one. Kody measures 11" - so I'm thinking I should buy the 12". Thanks.

The shop used to be in Cocoa Village FL. Miss going in there and making purchases but the owner finally called it quits due to health reasons, as other merchants have told me. All the advice given is correct. The gang is wearing the choke free harness as are some of the neighbors' pups. A good sturdy harness but not cheap.

I love choke-free's super soft leather. Sorry I can't help with size. I just took Mocha to a boutique that sells it and the lady helped me select a size. We actually tried on two different ones before settling on the best size. The choke-free website has list of shops that sells their products. That's how I found one locally (ok, maybe not local local, but it's only about 30 miles away and the trip was totally worth it). The place I found carries both choke-free and buddy belt. At the time I was debating between the two so it made a lot of sense to go try both out.

Looks like only place in NC is in Waxhaw.

No because I heard her processing time was a bit long. Along I found them on ebay a little cheaper depending size.
