Review of Madan brushes/combs vs CC - yay Toplinepet/Mimimomo I've used some CC products for a few years and have been curious to try the Madan products that Jenny (mimimomo) sells at TopLinePet...so I can keep some extra brushes/combs around the house. LOVE THE MADAN products!! The brush-bed flexes when you come across a tangle, so that it doesn't yank the fur. I very much appreciate the fact that the tips of the brush are straight instead of ball tipped (ball tipped pull so much :(). The combs are amazing. I have the CC #006, and the only big difference between CC and the Madan combs is that the Madan products cost about 2/3 LESS :). The Madan comb's handle also has an angled shape, which can help with ease of grip. For what I spent on 1 CC comb, I could have gotten about 3+ Madan products. Wish I knew then what I know now :). The rat-tail comb is excellent too! So there's a little review in case others ever wondered if they should buy Madan or CC. My vote is MADAN! Jenny, your products are awesome, they're packaged so nicely, and wow....you're FAST. We love it all! |

I agree completely, Madan brushes and combs are amazing, and so is Jenny! No pulling means we aren't hurting our pups, and they won't grow up hating being brushed. Ann, how do you manage the brush/comb size for working around tiny Marcel & Pheiffer's faces? The ones I got are a bit big and I worry about poking, so I need to pick some smaller ones. |
OK!!! I just bought the pink madan brush for my silky haired yorkie and the steel comb!!! These reviews help so much when you are trying to make the right choice!! Thanks :):):) |
I love them too, and you can't ask for a sweeter vendor then Jenny, She is the best!! :) |
I've never used any other brush than the Madan. When I ask Cooper if he wants to be brushed he spins around in circles. Sometimes I find him trying to climb the counter because he's ready to be groomed. That's enough for me! |
You all have me convinced and I did order a brush and a few other items just a few minutes ago. It's the brush that's my main concern, especially since I had ordered the teeser brush that was recommended and it's one of the worst brushes I've ever had the misfortune to use. |

Ann, that is what we use around here as well. Not only are the products wonderful, but Jenny is fabulous to work with!! :) In fact, I need to place an oder for some new ones. Thanks for the reminder. ;) |

Oh also, when working on their face or a mat...in addition to combing outward, I also try to "turn" the comb (like "flip" it in circular motion) right before I get to the end of of the fur...so that I'm not pulling fully outward, but also a little 1/4 circle right at the end, so that I don't pull out and then suddenly have it 'yank' at the end from too much outward momentum. Oh my, not sure any of that even made sense. :p |
I just got my Maden brush in the mail yesterday that I ordered. I must it works very nice for Willow's hair. I got my order in 3 day's that was fast shipment. Now I guess I need to order a comb. Which one would be best? |
