Espree Products: Are They Any Good? Hello everyone :) My baby comes home next week and I've been looking at shampoos/conditioners because obviously she needs to bathe. :P Problem is that I don't really want to have products shipped to me and I don't know of any specialty stores in my area and a lot of the brands people seem to rave about are not available in stores. :( So I found that Petco carries Espree products. Are they any good? I was considering these: Espree Natural Puppy Shampoo at PETCO Espree Natural Ear Care for Dogs at PETCO Opinions please! Thank you :D |
I absolutely love Espree products! I have not used the Natural Puppy Shampoo but have used several of their other shampoos with great success. I love the Silky SHow Shampoo and the Hypoallergenic Coconut Shampoo. I like the Oatmeal too. Their Luxury Remoisturizer is amazing! For ear cleaner, I just use a little hydrogen peroxide on a Q-Tip and wipe around as far as I can see, not much further at all. Unless there is a wax build up that the vet has suggested something more for, I would not put anything in their ears. That is just me though. I am sure, since these products exist, others do use them. |

I will try the Q-tip method since she doesn't have any known ear issues and I'm all about not spending anymore money on the soon to be spoiled girl. :P |
No -- I am sorry, I did not mean for you to use the ones I recommended now. It di sound like that as I reread! I would still use the puppy formula. I have quite a bit of Fluffy Puppy from Biogroom and that is what I have used on my puppies for the most part. You could use the Hypoallergenic Coconut as it is naturally tearless, but I would just stick with the Puppy formula for now and think about it later. I just wanted to say that out of all the products from Espree I have tried, I really like them all! So, their Puppy shampoo should be good too. :) |
Thank you for your input! :) I'm glad to hear that the products have worked so well for you! Let's hope that they work well for my little Rylie too... or Mommy will have to run all over looking for an alternative. :P I will buy the Espree puppy this week and see how it goes after her first bath. :) I'll keep you posted! P.S. Opinions still welcome from others! Even negative ones. ^_^ |
I haven't tried Espree, but I've heard lots of good things about it. I just wanted to recommend that you also get a conditioner, or possibly the remoisturizer that Debra mentioned. I find that my yorkies' coats look & groom better when I use something like that after shampooing. Congrats on your new baby! |

Is conditioner the same this as remoisturizer? Thank you! I'm so excited and I can't wait! ::happy dance:: (I have my Maddan brush/mustache comb/grooming comb. Anything else I might need for grooming besides those and the shampoo/conditioner?) |
I use it the hypoallergenic shampoo and also the coconut products, they are ok, they didn't nothing spectacular for my three girls, hope work out for you:thumbup: |
I have not used their products. Speaking of remoisturizers, I have used Hansen's Re-Mo Plus Conditioner for years and love it! |
I'll be sure to let you know how the Espree works out after my baby's first bath. TODAY IS THE DAY SHE COMES HOME!!!!!! :D |
