Recommendations for dog carrier for jogging Hi, I want to start jogging with Lila outside. I've seen the backpacks that you put in the front, kind of like a baby. Are the best ones with her legs hanging out or could I get the ones where her legs don't come out? Not interested in a stroller because we live in a small apartment and can't store it. Thanks! |

I'm getting this stroller (it's actually from Sears...they had the best price): http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...7&blockType=G7 Here is a better picture of it though... Amazon.com: Pink Plaid Pet Jogger Stroller: Home... (the Sears pic is stretched funny :p) There are several different colors, which is nice since most of the jogging strollers come in only one color and/or are much more expensive!! |

Strollers fold up flat for storage. They make some nice jogging strollers. Jogging Dog Strollers and Pet strollers with Free Shipping - at JustPetStrollers.com |
I would not recommend the back pack or front pack for jogging with your baby- it would hurt her for sure- too much shaking. I live in NYC and have a stroller that folds flat an can be EASILY stored- they even have jogging strollers- I have taken Keoki and he is great on a jog- I would get a stroller for the safety of your pup :) |
Thanks! Thanks for the good advice. I would be devastated if ever did anything to hurt her. It does make sense even if she's secure against my body, it would still be lots of bouncing and she's all of 5.5 pounds. I will either get the stroller or she will just have to relax in bed while I'm jogging. Glad I didn't waste my money on the backpack. |
