kong and nail clipper question Are all nail clippers equal? Will a $5 one be just fine? What is the difference between a puppy and regular kong? Should I skip the puppy one? |
Puppy kongs are a bit softer than the adult kongs. If you have a power chewer, I would skip the puppy version. Nail clippers come in 2 basic forms- the guillotene style and the scissor type. It's a matter of personal preference, though it's easier to overshoot the tip of the nail and hit the quick with the guillotene type, IMO. You may want to consider investing in a dremel tool for filing the nails instead. |

I haven't heard very good things about the pedipaw. Dremmels are what they use in vet offices and salons. I have the corded one, but I've been told the cordless one is actually better because the motor is quieter. Dremel Pet Nail Grooming Kit - Grooming - Dog - PetSmart |
