Kewl kennel  So I got my yorkie from kewl Kennel from Gary & Jennifer Chapman in Pomona, MO. I had email her with a few concerns and I didnt get a response, so when I try to go to their website I found horrible things about it. I guess they have a video on you tube about the kennel, that looks more like a puppymill. I was so mad. I felt so bad for all of the other puppies. Did anyone buy there puppy from them? I feel so use, if I had known it was a puppymill I would have never bough from them, I love Chloe with all my heart, but I feel like they took advantage of alot of us who bough from them. I wonder if the papers I have are even real. :( Please help! :aimeeyork Chloe's momma :aimeeyork |
I just looked them up and it looks like they've changed their name to Pomona Puppies. Here's their website....POMONA PUPPIES This is the saddest thing I've ever seen! I guess their old name got too much flack so they had to change it. I hope you're puppy is healthy and happy! These people are a disgrace and their PUPPY MILL should be closed down :( |
I saw the youtube video of their kennel, omg that's horrible. I hope your furbaby is healthy. I'm sure she's a lot happier with you than in that place. They need to be shut down immediately. I'm going to check out the kennel the pet shop I got my baby from used. I was told from a close friend that knew the owner that they always used good breeders, but now I need to know for myself. |
What a disgusting puppymill. You can see an inspection report in this video. Kewl Kennels was cited for selling underage puppies and keeping the puppies on wire that allowed their feet to fall through. :thumbdown |
This just makes me so sick.... |
Heartbreaking:( |
Kewl Kennel I do not have a yorkie but I wanted to reply to your post. I purchased a Shih Tzu from Kewl Kennel about a year and a half ago. Not sure when you purchased yours but I live in MO so I was able to drive (about 2-3 hours) out to their house to pick the puppy up. The video on youtube does not show the location that we picked the puppy up from. We drove to their home and they were very nice and welcomed us in. The house was well kept and our puppy was bathed and ready to go. We did register him and he has been in perfect health and is a great little addition to the family. (We already had a little girl Shih Tzu) As for the violations, the first one of the 2 was for letting puppies leave the home before 56 (I think that was the number) days old. The list of ages that they had shown there was only 1 or 2 days shy of this. So...that isn't that big of a deal. If you are like me, once you see the little one that is for you, you want it right away. I'm not trying to say what they are doing is right or anything like that. Just to ease your mind. I personally went to this location to purchase my puppy and I didn't see anything like this. Hopefully this will help to settle your mind. |
So very sad, it breaks my heart to see how some animals are treated. I just don't know how these types of greeders can live with themselves, all for the mighty buck at the expense of living, breathing creatures. Let alone lay their heads on a pillow at night, knowing they cause such sorrow and pain and not be wracked with guilt!!! I just cannot understand this!!! |

While puppymills are everywhere, I am especially cautious about MO and Ark. If I ever see any breeders from these states, they are immediately discontinued from my search. I've never seen any decent ones posted. So sorry. |
