About yorkie splash and shine? I have a dude  I bathed my yorkie with yorkie splash... and i felt as a wax coat¿? like a dry hair i read in the webpage that's normal but all the time it will be like this? Did you feel the same while you were bathing your yorkies? anyway results are good  Sorry by language mistakes!! |
It gets better with every bath, and when they are dry I didn't feel and waxiness at all, there coats were just really soft. But yes I was put off a bit by the feel when they were wet, it is different than other shampoos. I feel like it really keeps them clean and smelling nice longer than other shampoos too. |
Yeah, it's different, i like it, but feels rare :p |
I didn't like it for my boy with long coat but it was okay for my shorter haired girl. It does smell good, unfortunately I need my products to give me more than just a good scent. |
I have used it once so far on Bella and it seemed to be fine, but she is a puppy. This weekend I plan on trying it on my longcoat chihuahua's so I will have a much better idea then. I do really like the smell. |
maybe i got a bad batch or something..but the smell only last a day or 2 for me and mine rarely goes outside...and the results hasn't impress me. i guess it's not meant for me... |
Itchy Face:(--long lasting smell:) I bathed Snickers on Sunday and the smell was still there this morning, on Wednesday so the lovely smells stays on my guy. My problem is that Snickers has begun scratching his beard more often now. I don't see any bumps or irritation but I'm hopinh it's not the Slash and Shine that's itching him. He does not itch anywhere else though. Thoughts? Snick & Viv |
I have used it on all 4 of mine and I love it. I have 2 with short hair, 1 with very long silky hair and a puppy. I got sample bottles from my GE buddy and ordered more. It is a great product. |
hello, anyone know if its tearless? i should be getting a 10 week old puppy soon. |
I bought it too.(sample set) and I'm very surprised. I too was thrown off by the waxy feeling, but since YTer Walnut Hill (maker of product) warned of it and it's watery consistency I just went with it. I'm happy that the smell is still there, faint but there which of course makes my sensitive nose happy. As for Yorkie Jack's question, it's been asked before so my understanding is that it is sensitive and it is an organic shampoo. The maker doesn't want to falsely advertise as she does not know what exactly would classify something tear less. It is gentle, and I've used it liberally on Kaji's face and he didn't seem to mind. Hope that helps! |

Make sure you rinse really really good... if its still itching then maybe your little one is allergic to something in the shampoo. |
I have tried alot of products in my 10 years of owning yorkies and am always trying the latest "new thing" -- when I tried Sarah's shampoo, I loved it. The more I use it on the dogs, the more I love it. I gave it to my GE buddies as gifts and they loved it. My dogs have no odors, their coats look great, and I love that there is nothing artificial in it. Although I've tried lots of products in the past, I think I won't ever have to again. Sarah will have a repeat customer in me! |
We LOVE it!!! The girls just had baths yesterday and they smell SO good and feel SO soft!!!! I had a client here BEFORE I had bathed them and she even commented about how soft they were before their baths! |
