My vet told me he could not recommend Angel Eyes because of the antibiotic. I gave him the ingredient list for the "Tear Stain" supplement at petco and he research them and says he approved. It works great!!! The dogs love it sprinkled on their food. I don't give them much no more tear stains.

has anyone tried organic colloidal silver? i'm leaning towards that.... it sounds really great. i had heard of it a long time ago and was just reminded of it.

This would scare me way more than Angel Eyes. Have you heard of the blue man? Meet a real-life ?Blue Man? - TODAY News - TODAY.com Anyway, I think much more should be known before you try this. By the way, there's a thread on Gerbers' baby water, and many dogs have had success with that. It's only a dollar a gallon and it's purified water. Some dogs are bothered by the mineral content in tap water. Also, a food change can make a difference.

it's supposed to be very safe for humans, animals, fish, etc... it works on the
bacteria.

wow... that guy IS scary. he made his solution himself, which I would question and he drinks it all the time.. another thing I don't think I would recommend. i will keep looking for other things that may work, too.

I prefer things that have been tested for safety, and I'm not satisfied with the safety of it. I think people are misled by the terms organic and natural. Poop is organic and natural, but it's not safe. I feel like if you want to experiment on yourself that is your right, for you might notice symptoms right away, but experimenting on your pets is different, you may miss some of the symptoms. The man’s whose skin turned blue, shows that there are symptoms and that the silver builds up in the body over time. There are other safer alternatives in my opinion.

Here's a little more information on colloidal silver.

Miniature Schnauzer breeders (the blondes) use this formula regularly.

recipe for removing tear & beef stains:
1 tsp each of
Milk of magnesia,
corn starch, and
3% hydrogen peroxide.
Mix it into a paste, then apply to stained areas and let it dry overnight.
Then you can bathe her the next day. This might have to be done a couple times. It can lighten dark hair as well so be aware of that

Things like Angel Eyes are full of preservatives nonnatural and antibiotics I'd never give it to a dog we avoid such things in their food so why then do it to treat an infection they are statically proven to not have?

Oh if they do have the infection giving a bit of yogurt rids a yeast infection much better than antibiotics...

Yes, in fact, a round of antibiotics can cause a yeast infection, the yeast is not caused by bacteria and antibiotics can kill the "good bacteria" that controls the yeast spores living on us. That's why yogurt with real "live cultures" and probiotics can cure a yeast infection; they introduce the "good" bacteria back to our system, which then in turn keeps the yeast spores in balance.
