Any Experience with PediPaws? Does anyone have any experience with PediPaws? I heard they suck and the PetiCure was the product to buy. I think this says it all: http://pet-nail-trimmer-reviews.com Thanks, John.:D |
I have one. Works fine. Scruffs doesn't really like it but he will get used to it. I would not suggest it for any dog bigger than 15 lbs. I spent 30 minutes working on my friends dogs nails, he is 18 lbs. Great for dogs under 10 lbs I think though! |
It works for me. Took 2 or 3 times before he got used to it, now he's content when I do it. My roommate uses one on her huge lab and he just sits there and lets her do it. I really think it depends on the dog. |
Didn Well, it didn't work for me. My girls weren't real happy so we'er back to the little clippers. They don't mind and it's just easier. Didn't lose the money on buying, I use it to make mosaic pots. Cut my time in half... great tool... lol |
Ehhh, didn't work for us. Ella hated the noise, but i do think it depends on the animal. I just wasn't impressed w/ what it did for her nails. |
Worked for us I just got one and used it on both of my furry kids. At first, they were a little anxious, but it didn't take long for them to adjust. Worked well for us. |
I have one - used it once. I don't like it because it generates a lot of heat from friction. Not only that I don't like the smell of the toe nail dust :D. My dogs are all very good about having their nails clipped so I'll stick to the old fashioned way. |
I don't like mine either. Much rather clip and so would they. :D |
I have one but I don't use it very often. Its very loud. I've been trying to use it with my three for 2 months now and they are all scared of it. I also agree with anoter poster that it does heat up pretty quick. I've also only used to it make their nails less sharp. I clip them the normal way first. I've got mixed opinions on it. I'm not really sure i would spend the money on it if i had to do it over. |
my friend gave me one and maddie hates it---ive tried it several times and she prefers me to just clip them |
Great Craft Tool well, I think we are all landing up in the same boat. My girls run for the bed the minute they see it. I gave up and they don't mind the little clippers but before you throw it away, all you crafters out there, it really makes a great craft tool for art projects. Have a great day, |
My dogs both hated it. To be fair, Bandit has issues when getting his nails cut or grided. I take him to PetSmart inbetween groomings because he's so bad I can't do it at home and you hear him across the store!!! |
I have one and we use it. But like mentioned its good for small dogs. The dogs aren't happy about it but I'd rather use this then clip too short. |
PediPaws are not something I like.... A friend of mine did Mr. Darcy's nails, and they were so scratchy and rough afterwards - I would never use the product again. Actually, my groomer does his nails once a month when she does his face. I keep his coat groomed myself. |
