I went to the local feed store to get Sam some new bully sticks (1.25) and they had these treats..... Sam loves them!!!

I bought him the Pumpkin and Apple. Yummies!

Mimi & Momo love them too! I bought all the different packages cuz our local pet store sells them for 'Buy 5 Get one Free'. They smell soo good.:D

How much do you pay? I paid $2 and normally I wouldnt do that for such a small bag but I figured I would try them.

We love Fruitables. Yeah they are pricey for a small bag but i love that i can toss them in my purse. I just saw that they were coming out with a larger "value" size! :) We take them on walks because some of the other treats crumble too easily in my pocket :thumbup:

The local dog boutique sent a couple of these home for London to try.
She was not interested, but then again she usually ignores biscuit-type treats.

Glad so many other doggies are enjoying this product!

Hmmmm........can you get them at the pet stores? Thanks for sharing will have to give them a try. Lexi is so darn picky picky eater! Our bichons would eat the kitchen sink if they could swallow it LOL

you can get this much cheaper by buying the graduates toddler strawberry and banana as treats as this is freeze dried and nothing but the fruit in them - mine love them

ha ha funny how some are picky and some are not. I am not sure. I just happened upon them in our local feed store. Want me to send you some out of Sam's bag?

I buy those too for Sam from time to time but since this had pumpkin, I wanted to try it. I also get him those sweet potato puffs, we share those!!

That's a great idea. I will try those. I feel bad because my Trixie hasn't had any treats because I'm so afraid of the pancreatitis coming back. It's only been about 3 weeks. Those sound great and reasonable

careful with the pancreas as that controls the insulin in body which can trigger diabetes so i would not do any sugary treats. Stick to the dog food only with any dogs that had pancreatitis :( maybe a little organic chicken is all but not until you have a year under your belt as they can relapse very easily

I usually break off a petal of this and give it to my girl. On occassion, I'd give her half the little biscuit at a time. The little bag is conveniently portable though I still usually put their treats into a tiny zip loc and/or small candy tin for portability.

My girl has only had the blueberry kind (I think that's the one with pumpkin?) while the cranberry variety is with apple, if I didn't confuse that. And it's CA$1.99. :thumbup:

Aww, I am so lucky that Sam doesnt appear to have an allergy for anything. I hate when the babies are allergic to something.

ROFL. I think either you must be VERY weak or you have one very stale package of cookie, dear. It's generally the "crispy" kind of biscuit so it seems to break okay if you aim to break the petal part. ;p

I've been meaning to try the cranberry kind too, however, we're still working on finishing off the blueberry flavour! I get addicted to buying her treats but I can't feed it to her quickly enough as I use a different "real dog kibble" as a "treat" for her also. :p And she gets various dried organ meats. But Fruitables and the Zuke stuff are so far the only "blended" ingredient treats I've gotten for her. Fruitables are not hard to find in retail stores here. :)

Ah, thanks for the offer, but mine are funny about the biscuit type treats. They just won't eat them. Yet they love the hard chicken jerky tenders. Go figure? These sound good and nutritious though!

Only in late stages of chronic pancreatitis is the pancreas so damaged that it will stop making adequate insulin. If this happens, then the dog (or person) will have diabetes. Then sugar and carb intake needs to be managed properly. But sugary treats will not trigger diabetes or bother the pancreatitis. Too many calories leading to obesity can contribute to diabetes, but not sugar itself or occasional sweet treats. Rich, fatty desserts or food are the problem. I have chronic pancreatitis (from pancreas divisium and gallstone scar buildup) and would be lost without my sweets & fruits since I have to forgo fatty things.

Great Idea I will have to try the baby grandules. Lexi might like them. I read all these treats everyone buys for their furbabies and I try so many of them but Lexi is the most finky picky eater I think I have ever had. She does like those yogurt vanilla chips for doggies you can buy at the pet stores. Vita something I think. Thanks again for more ideas...there goes the paycheck LOL :aimeeyork

Lol! How do you break off a petal??! Mimi will only eat biscuit snacks if I break it off for her...I have such a hard time breaking these. I think all the different fruit flavors has pumpkin in it.
