Baby Wipes Do any of you use baby wipes on your yorkies between baths. I bought some doggie wipes and didn't like the smell at all. Smelled like cheap perfume. I was wondering if baby wipes would work or if that might make them itch. I'd just like to wash Mini's face every day with something. Any help would be appreiciated. |
I use baby wipes on them everday!!!! As soon as they come in from going potty, I wipe their peepee and tooshie!!!! They seem fine with it!!! i buy the cheap ones from dollar store!!!!! And when its muddy out, I wipe their paws too!!!!! |
I have done that also but Sketter will not let me near him with it. He hates the smell.I just wash his little fave with a warm wash rag. Quote:

I actually my unscented makeup remover pads when needed. They work great! |
Gotta love the baby wipes....I use the ones that are alcohol free :p |
every time lexi goes to the bathroom, yes here comes a baby wipe and she just stands there and waits for me to clean her... |
What good mommies you all are. I'm going to try the wipes too. |
I use baby wipes to wipe her toosh after poo poo and pee pee..she loves it..hehe |
I use baby wipes on them all the time to wipe their toochies, but their faces i wash with plain luke warm water in the morning, i never use the wipe's by the eyes. |
It's routine in our house. Winston knows to just follow us to the bathroom to get wiped after every potty break or meal. We use the non-alcohol baby wipes. |
Do you think I can use this to clean Kelsey's legs off after walks outside? Is it safe for dogs? I know they have dog one's at Petsmart but theyre expensive. |
I use baby wipes to clean Gucci's tush and paws. I dont use them for her face. I use a towel with warm water. |
Yes, Winston get a wipe down everytime he goes out too. I normally go over the babywipes with a damped washcloth. As long as you use the ones without alcohol. :p |
Alrighty thanks! :) |
I use baby wipes...instead of the quick bath's cause they are exactly the same thing...I use it to clean up her chin hair...(yes my baby has a beard :() haha after she eats canned dog food...and for any in between clean ups |
My last doggy, who was a s**tzu poodle mix, had really dry skin and she was scratching really bad and the vet reccommended to use baby wipes to moisturize her skin, and it really helped, so it won't make her itch if you use the non-alcohol kind. |
