A word of caution... I mean this with all sincerity but, PLEASE do not drive without your little one buckled in to his/her own car booster seat or some other safe restraint system. In a collision an animal can travel at unbelievable speeds causing injury not only to themselves but, other occupants in your vehicle. Recently, I was the victim of being rear-ended (lightly) and you'd never believe how fast & hard my cell phone missed my head & plowed into my windshield! My girls :aimeeyork:aimeeyork:aimeeyork all ride in their own "Snoozer Lookout Dog Car Seats" whenever we travel...anywhere! Here's a link to where to look/purchase them: Snoozer Lookout Dog and Puppy Car Seats I actually purchased mine thru eBay for same or better price and got "free shipping", too! I got mine thru Discount Pet Supplies Store or you can go directly to this product below: Snoozer Small Lookout I Booster Pet Car Seat~16 Colors~ - eBay (item 190312835911 end time Jul-06-09 07:32:09 PDT) PS...your :aimeeyork baby is absolutely scrumptious, too! :D |
3 Attachment(s) Gellica has those. Here she is ... |
3 Attachment(s) Our kids have Doggles that they wear on the motorcycle. Attachment 281032 This was early last year, Gracie Ruth was too small for the small ones we had for Annie B. But you can see Boo wearing his. She has since grown and the pair we had for Annie fit her now. Doggles are the best for truly protecting the eyes. Gracie also got these adorable Granny Glasses and visor from her Secret Buddy in the last gift exchange. They would not do well to protect her eyes from anything...but they sure are stinkin' cute on her! :p Attachment 281033 And I second miabellaamoure gentle caution of not letting your babies ride loose in the car. As much as I love to have them in my lap, the thought of them flying into the windshield or being ejected from the car during an accident sends chills down my spine. Please consider getting a doggie seat. They are up high enough to be able to easily see out the window and we get lots and lots of smiles from other motorist's when they see one of the kids sitting there with their happy faces on. Attachment 281034 You can barely make out the middle seat for Boo and on the far side is one for Yogi. It's especialy funny to see all 3 sitting in there smiling and grinning. :) |
Thanks TeresaM and Miabellamoure.:D Miabellamoure pm'd me and gave me some info on car seats on e-bay. I already thought about dog seats, "dealy misiles" are something that the post office trained me about(22years ago), so I know. But Teresa, what type do you have and where did you get them. I'm going to look at several types before deciding. I might have some restrictions due the convertible. Thanks again for the push for safety. I love my baby:aimeeyork and want to take care of her for a long time. Dion |
