Little Rascal Dog Litter Box RASCAL DOG LITTER BOX COMPANY, LLC HOME PAGE I have had this product for 4 solid days of use now. I love it, Coco has taken fine to it... I did have to put one of her pee pads in it at first to make the transistion. I keep it in the garage and will go between using that and the great outdoors, instead of using the washable pee pads in side like we were. I'm hoping this will break her of using our carpets as pee pads because it has grass, that will be something I won't be sure of having sucess on until later in the training however, and has nothing to do with the product. :) The shipping was really fast as well, and the price is less then a lot of the grass potty boxes I had seen preiously.:thumbup::thumbup: |
I am glad to here that you like yours. I ordered my yesturday! I will not have my puppy for a few weeks but I am getting ready for her!! I am hoping that she will take to going in to the box inside and then make it easier for her to go outside also. I guess I can dream it will be like that!!:D |
does the grass look like the fake grass for outside can you use that? |
I'm not sure what fake grass for outside looks like, this looks like fake grass? I could take a picture tomorrow if you would like to get a closer up? It is really working out wonderfully for us, i'm very happy I bought it |
Thank you I would love to see a picture. its a carpet you put on the back porch. |
Training suggestions? I recently purchased this same litter box for my two babies but they don't use it. I have them comfortable with getting in and out of the box. I've also taken newspaper and put some of their pee on it when they go outside to potty like normal. I was hoping smelling their scent would help. Now if i tell them to smell or to stay in the box they will smell it but will not go potty. I desperately want to spare my carpets any more abuse but they don't understand to potty IN the box. They will go potty right next to the box on the vinyl flooring but never in the box. Any suggestions? They are only outside trained and have never used pee pads or newpaper inside the house before. My one baby is 8 months and the other is 2.5 years old. |

That's a good idea! I didn't think about that, I recently purchased two ex pens so I will definitely try that. Thanks:) |
Thank you so much for the suggestion! Libby actually went potty IN the box. Needless to say it was an exciting moment:) |

what is an ex pen? i have 2 adult yorkie rescues who i think never were out of a crate and retraining them not to use my carpet to no avail! UGH. SAVE my carpet and sanity. My other yorkie never went in the house but they are not following his actions at all. The 1 1/2 is getting neutered in the am but at this age it is a habit now!! he loves to go out but doesnt potty even with treats! I have to do something my female just had puppies and it is just too much! |
second nature litter?? trying to read up on anything that can help save my house being taken over by 2 who i cant seem to train. UGH HELP i read about second nature litter too? |
I'm not familiar with dogs using a litter box. Is it just for training them to go outside, or is it something they would always do, like a substitute for going outside? |

I don't know anything about second nature litter. Quote:
I'm using it primarily for an alternative to using pee pads indoors, I keep the box in the garage.. so technically she is going "out" to use it. It has also taught her that it is good to go on grass and now she will, before she would hold it till she got home to her pee pads. I really needed something that was going to be different so that she could identify that it isn't ok to go in the house on carpeting .. so far this is meeting all my expectations |
Mine just arrived today, I'm so excited to see if Sullie will try it:) |
