I use the Spotty Dog Training litter tray. I have a Dorkie and a Shorkie and they both use it. Easy clean up. |
I've used both the UGODOG potty (the plastic one with grates) and the PupHead potty (one of the grass variations). I think both are better than pee pads, which my dog just shreds - not to mention the environmental impact of throwing so many away! I've written detailed reviews of both the UGODOG and PupHead on my website. |
I have been very interested in these as well. I use pee pads and although they get used, they also get chewed up and drug around the house. We have a dog door and my oldest yorkie does great and goes outside on her own all the time, but my little one (who loves to go in and out the door) still doesn't go outside regularly to potty. I can't seem to get her completely trained and it is frustrating me. I thought maybe these would work... but I'm still waiting to see the reviews. Otherwise, if you have some tips on getting my little Izzy outside "all" the time, that would be great! I even offer her treats when she does go outside, but it doesn't seem to be working very well. |
I bought one and I am not impressed with it. Grass is difficult to clean and my furbabies prefer wee wee pads. I did find wee wee pad holders at Pet Smart and have found they work best for my babies. |
Soggy Shoes Just ordered Mabel a Little Squirt potty patch. I hope it works! I have gone thru about $100.00 worth of paper towels and Urine B Gone! So far we have been less than successful in the potty department! Mabel peed in my husbands shoe... Let's just say he was not pleased:mad: TEEHEE! LOL !!;) |
I thought the potty patch was a great idea for my little Zoey! We went to the pet store and bought it. I took it home, set it up and let my curious pup examine it. I told her it was potty and she got all excited, sniffed it, picked up the "grass" and ran around the house with it! she did it more than once and when she wasn't running with the grass she was chewing the plastic! The basin that would hold the pee was so shallow, I decided to forget this idea and go back to wee wee pads. Zoey can't go outside to pee because we have places that she could get out of the yard if she tried hard enough. I walk her most of the time when the weather is fair enough to not upset my asthma. Wee wee pads work the best for me, I did find something that held a wee wee pad, maybe I'll give that a try next time... |
