Amelia likes to ride up front but that isn't safe because of airbags. We got a console seat for her. It straps in tight and has a tether to attach and keep her in her seat and she gets to set up front to watch every little thing.

Where did you find one of these? I have been looking and the only place I found was a little boutique and they wanted $90 for it..

We ordered ours online from petco and yeah it was around $90.

I wish Rowdy would stay in a car seat. I've tried a couple and he's just too ROWDY. He is a danger to me when I drive. He goes under the seats, over the seats, in my lap, outta my lap. My other two dogs lay down and sleep, but not him. I was afraid he was going to hang himself in the carseat. The other day I left him in the car at my son's house while I ran in for less than two minutes to pick up something, when I came back out, he had locked me out. I guess he had jumped on the lock button. The car was running. I had another set of keys, but let that be a lesson to us all. :rolleyes:

I have two the companion and the console and my girls do so well on it, no complaints for us;) it make feel better knowing that they are safe in case that somenthing happens:(

I have the snoozer what is the weight/size limit for the console seat?

OMG, that would be my luck too! Unfortantly I don't carry another set of keys on me when I get out....:(
