pedi paw anyone use this on their yorkie? I was thinking about buying one. It is hard to cut and trim charlie's nails. |
Reply on the Pedi Paw OMG, I bought one and my yorkie Sophie is scared to death of it, think I will just let my groomer do her nails, lol |

I heard they are hard to use as well.. |
If you have trouble keeping their hair back, just use a pair of pantyhose and poke their nails through the mesh before you trim. I have done even when using the clippers so I could have a better view. |
Ive tried the pantyhose trick it works very well! Ive used the pedi paw too its best used frequently just for a little trim. Its not the easiest tool to use. Kelly :) |
Pedi Paws Yeah I'm just going to let my groomer do it, she doesn't even charge for nails in between groomings..:D |
yea i bugged my husband 4ever to get one and now we got one, i used it 2 x's and can't stand it so its collecting dust lol i might put it on ebay ;) |
lol this is funny. I actually have 2 of them and my puppies just want to play with them. So I guess I will go to the vet when they are due for a trim. The idea of the panty hose is a great one.. gonna try that one. But not the pedi paws thing might donater them somewhere. |
I personally don't have a problem with it. At first, I must say, it wasn't easy and I hated it, but now I'm glad I have it. It just takes practice and a little patience. My puppy practically falls asleep, now, while I do his nails. My only problem is that I don't know how far to trim without hurting him. |
I had always wanted to buy it, because their nails seem to grow soo fast. So i asked the cashier at petsmart and she said that a lot of people bought them and then a lot brought them back. So i passed, ill just leave that to the groomer! |
I have had no problems with my 3 Yorkies using it. My Axl is more afraid if the nail clippers than he is this pedi paws. |
