Little Lily Boots Does anyone happen to know the measurements (length & width) of the size 0 & size 1, of the Little Lily Boots? Thanks. :) Sheila |
Im not sure but I know the boots that are on my site are made mby the manufacturers of Littly-lily, they are by gooby and they use the same people. The 0 on mine fits up to 4 lbs. and the 1 on mine is 4-9 lbs. |
Thanks, Brooke. I've been trying to find out measurements, because I checked a few different brands, and they are each different. Someone suggested the ones at Target. I checked them out today, and they are really big. They are size small, and claim to be for dogs up to 10#s. They are 2" long, by 1 & 1/2" wide, so a 4# dog would have to have some pretty big feet. Besides, the sole is some kind of foam, and I don't believe it would wear well on concrete. It's just my thought, but, I think, the better they fit, the more comfortable they would be for the dog to wear. Just to see my 4#er's reaction, I put them on her, and she was willing to walk in them, but oh, my, she had to really raise those little paws high in order to do so. :) Sheila |

My 2 lb yorkie can actually wear the ones from target. I think because of all that hair it fills up the boot a little. BUt then again, she doesnt even try to get them off. you can really adjust how tight and loose they are with the velcro strap at the top of the boots. I think all dog boots have that strap. Just thought that info would help when looking at sizes :) |

Its funny at first isnt it? I couldnt help but laugh. They get used to it though and I think they will appreciate boots when it gets cold in the winter :p (or when it rains, my dogs hate getting thier feet wet). |

But, really, the more I think about it, what was I thinking all these years, letting them walk on concrete and snow, with their bare little paws? |
Sheila, I have seen the ones from target and the other "boot" type shoes that are less expensive. Of course they can wear them simply bc of the velcro strap, but I dont think they have a high quality rubber sole, and Im am pretty sure the sizes are made to fit a larger size range of pups. The little-lily's and the ones that I sell are made to be more size specific, and actually serve a functional purpose also. The ones by gooby have an adjustable clasp on the back of each bootie also, which is unique to their specific bootie. I put Haley in them, and they were almost too small (the size 0, but she is almost 4 lbs.) and she did the little hopping thing. It was truly hilarious, we felt bad and took them off, but it takes a few days for them to get used to. |
Brooke, I agree, I'm sure the one's from Target, are "wearable", but I need functional, as well as cute. I need a good rubber sole, as my girls will be wearing them on walks on a paved walking/biking path. I tried the ones on my girls from Target, they're way too big in the foot, and remind me of the way I used to walk, wearing flippers, when I was diving. I think my girls would be more willing to wear shoes, if they fit. The G2 Booties in Pink, on your site, are they a kind of peachy pink? Do you think the back adjustment is more durable than the Velcro type? I'm wondering if the Velcro would stretch out after use, and lose it's tightening ability. Hmmmm......do you think the size 0 would be too small on my 4# Kia? Sheila |

They are a really pretty baby pink (not peachy at all). A size 0 works for Haley, but I can email you a paw chart for you to measure her paw if you are interested. I personally like the back adjustment much better, its mor secure IMO |
