perfect coat 8 in 1 shampoo/wipes Has anyone use this product before? it seems to get good reviews on petco's site. I am thinking about getting the wipes for charlie to use in between baths. Right now i am washing him once a week which is not good for him anymore. His skin is getting dry so I am thinking about getting the wipes to use in between so that he will only need a bath once every two weeks. |
I started off using the 8-in-1 Pro Pet Salon Antibacterial Apple Scent Shampoo. It smelled about the same as the Dawn dish soap apple scented anti-bacterial wash :p . Not a bad thing. The smell doesn't last though. I found it didn't work well for my girl. It needed a conditioner to be used along side it otherwise, it leaves the hair too squeaky and tangly and dry feeling. Her skin didn't improve while using that and it seemed a little more dry afterwards. I still have half a tube left that I have no intention of using up. 8 In 1 Pro Pet Salon Antibacterial Shampoo 8 Oz-Dog Shampoos I've never tried the wipes, so I have no opinion there. I just have baby wipes and hand/facial wet wipes for the "in case" but rarely had to use it and then, only to use it on muddy feet before entering the car again. When I get home, I just use warm water to rinse her feet/legs and towel dry her a little so she doesn't leave behind muddy paw prints. |
I've used the 8 in 1 puppy shampoo on my baby. That was a BAD idea. Her skin got extremely dry and flaky and I've had to use a strong oatmeal shampoo and her skin is getting finally getting better... this was about 3 months ago, granted she only gets a bath once a month, unless she get's really stinky. I can't bathe her a lot or her skin will dry out also, but the 8 in 1 puppy shampoo really did it for her. It could also be because she's allergic to certain foods, so I'm not sure if it relates in anyway, such as having sensitive skin. ETA: I've never used the wipes from them. I have used baby wipes and they didn't do anything for her. :( I do use Buddy Splash by Cloudstar... it really helps with the stinkyness ... and a couple of sprays lasts for a few days, unless she goes outside and rolls around. |
