She has a silky coat and Minksheen did put more shine in it than BioGroom (which also dried her) I have something I got from my Vet for that, but I'm going to try Buddy Wash. Would you be willing to share your diet? Thanks for your response.

I feed homecooking with added supplements (fish oil is one of it) and it does make his coat shine. I could see a big difference in his coat.

Thanks for the tip. I have read here on YT about people homecooking. I've never tried this but I am looking for a new food for her so I'll look into it. I've been feeding Eucanuba (she was on this when I bought her) but discovered its not very good. I'll look on YT for homecooking, seems like I read there is one somewhere on here. Be sure to do more research before you start homecooking. Its hard to go back to commercial food once you start as usually the dogs won't eat commercial once they have tasted homecooking before.

Oooo thank you...I only spent about 8 bucks on each bottle, but when you get all three, it's 24 bucks for doggie shampoo...yikes!! Even my own is not that expensive...but totally worth it!!!!

Cloud Star Buddy wash and rinse are all I have ever used on Pepper. I love them. I have both the lavender and mint and the green tea and bergamot. They both smell wonderful.

My husband and I kept on cuddling Snickers just to smell him all evening!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

I looked up that ebay seller/item and it was listed at USD11.95 with $9.xx shipping? I didn't read the details down below, but I hope that's for more than just one bottle. I know I came upon a store a month or two ago that sold it for CA$9.99 on special. However, I do recall my bottle costing just a few dollars more and I wasn't bargain hunting at the time as the place I bought it from wouldn't be my first pick normally. I've only used it once but wasted quite a bit of it though the bottle still looks mostly full. If you are interested in taking it off my hands, I'd be more than happy to send it along to you. Just shoot me a PM with shipping info and I'll get it sent out asap. :) Otherwise, it's just sitting in my bathroom collecting dust as I still prefer Tropiclean's SPA Lavish line of products. The Buddy Wash I have is the Lavender & Mint one. I was going to have the hubby use that next once he finishes the rest of his existing shampoos since he thinks it's wasteful LOL. I mean, it's all natural, right? So it should be safe for human testing. :p And he just had to start counting how many bottles of hair products I now have collected up for our girl... :rolleyes: I told him if it bothers him so much, he's free to use them up. :p

Shipping it is expensive because it's so heavy. I would get killed on shipping when I sold it, even if I charged the customer $10 it was sometimes $12+ to ship, especially with more than one bottle. If you can buy it locally that might be a good idea. $12 is a little high, they usually retail for like $10-11 but keep in mind that the 19oz bottle lasts for like a year, even with weekly baths on 2 dogs. My groomer dilutes it too but I haven't just because it lasts so long anyway!

I actually use it as a body wash. My hair is too frizzy so I have to use my salon shampoo/conditioner but Buddy Wash is like the most natural product I'm aware of, MUCH better than even some of the natural/organic stuff I see. I'm sure your husband wouldn't mind using it :)

PS I still have some spray left (Buddy Splash) on my site if anyone is interested.

I would imagine shipping will get expensive especially to Canada for "YoRkiE Te aMo". Generally, it seems people shipping within the Continental USA get pretty good rates in comparison. I've always felt Canada Post was legally robbing us. :p Toronto seems to have better and more selection than us over here in Vancouver and I'm hoping Buddy Wash isn't the exception for TO residents. :)

Yes... the shipping is high on most items but I only buy if the seller is willing to ship via USPS first class when i purchase items from the USA and it was cheaper before... it has gone up in the last year. I purchased 2 19oz bottles of Buddy Wash for under $20.00 on ebay from another seller last year in New Jersey and we still have a bottle left ....we have also used it on our hair when we ran out of shampoo and i must say it is quite nice and I have long hair and did not need conditioner. I could not find it in Toronto then and contacted the company and they told me of the distributor in Alberta ..but again the shipping costs would hike the price up to over $20.00 :( But i did purchase the splash and boo boo on ebay and it was under $25.on ebay with the shipping and i went to that shop in Toronto that carries the Buddy Wash now and just the boo boo was 18.95 before the gst and pst so that would have alone cost me about $25. and I was also at a Global pet supply shop and they had the Spa products also at very high costs...$18. and up. Buddy Wash for ur little Pichu ? We use the Splash to get the tangles out instead of the rinse and it works great...but then I also use the baby Aveeno to wash Olivers face and head...

Our Little Oliver does not eat any pet products we make everything he eats ...we make him chicken treats and beef treats and also gets cookies we make and he loves fresh fruit and veggies, cheese and yogurt, but for years now prior to the dog food issues ..we give him only real food...he always had something till we changed to real food and he has been a Happy Camper and Healthy too since ..it has been well over 7 years now, since we changed :animal-pa we also do not use any chemicals on him..we did when he was a pup and he was sick over the years from that too, i believe from all the chemicals..its just too much for these Little Ones to tolerate over the years of their lives..hopefully for at least 16 years:D

So, I just bought Jackson the 19oz bottle of the original Buddy Wash shampoo from Petco! I haven't used it yet, but it was $12.99 at Petco so I figured I'd try it out :)

I will be giving him a bath tonight with it and will let you know how it works!
