Help Play pen I have a new baby coming soon, and am looking for something to keep her in while I am at work.I want something big enough to put her pee pad tray in but not huge. I don't like crates and the exercise pens don't have bottoms ( i have carpet at home). Then the Play pens that look like the baby play pens don't have tops, so mu furr ball might escape. Any suggestions? I am about to have an axiety attack. |
i never tried a playpen but i do have an xpen...to preserve your carpet, you could put down a shower curtain and a flat sheet or blanket on top of that...that way if they do have accidents, it will not soak into the carpet. just an idea :) |
xpens are the best. My Alyssa is a jumper and she has never escaped from it. |
How tall are your x-pens? I have a jumper, too, but I'm thinking these are a great idea if she can't get out. |
I'm looking at 24" h 36" 26"L 36"W . The shower curtain is a great idea |
I used a playpen/travelcot for my girls after i sold my crates and prefered this, so much cosier i found! |
I used a dog play pen, I think it was bt Pet Gear. It worked great for Cali, because I had her pee pad in it and when she was loose the one end zipped open so she could run in and use it. |

1 Attachment(s) I have directions to make this playpen with closet shelving. It has a floor so it's great for carpeted areas. PM me if you'd like the directions. |
1 Attachment(s) I use an xpen and just put down a shower curtain and then a sheet over it. It works great and keeps the carpet underneath clean. Here is what mine look like... The great thing about xpens is you can adjust the size so easily to make it the perfect size. |
2 Attachment(s) This is what I have just bought |
