It was a white bodice with blue "V" and a blue with white pleated skirt and a blue star on the bodice...probably "Dallas Cowboy". And the two pom poms were being used for bows on the model at the store. |
Well yes that one was mine. Melinda p.s. any ideas on how to improve then? Quote:

1 Attachment(s) tHANKS all. I have made a HIV/Aids awareness dress too. i had a request for one for a charity event. I am not sure who the profits will be donated too yet. So in the meantine i will split any of the sales between 2nd chance rescue in Acton CA and Paws Parade of Hope. It is made identical to the Ovarian Cancer and Breast Cancer just in red. Here is a pic. Thanks again to everyone, Melinda sassy-petwear |
Do you do one in Yellow? If so I would like one to represent Hydrocephalus. There is a list below, yellow represents alot of different things. Support of our troops The safe return of our troops from foreign lands MIA/POW A general symbol of hope A general symbol of support A general symbol for remembrance Equality Adoptive parents Armenian genocide awareness Missing children - amber alert Missing person - come home Suicide prevention Teen suicide Those left behind after a suicide - a yellow ribbon with a heart Leukemia Bladder cancer Testicular cancer Liver Cancer Liver disease Endometriosis Hydrocephalus Spina bifida - pale yellow Sarcoma - Yellow ribbon with a sunflower on it Myelodysplastic Syndrome Deana Prestigeous Yorkies |
wow i had no idea!!! I had no idea that the yellow ribbon represented so many things!!! That is a great idea. If you would like for me to make one just let me know how you would like it. Would you like the dress identical to the other ribbon dresses i have made for charity and just put a yellow skirt, yellow ribbons, white bodice, white flowers on the ribbons and a white lace with yellow ribbon at waist? I would love to be able to make one. I would have to pick a charity to donate this money too. I don't keep any of the money except the costs for materials. I can't give alot of money myself so i give my time and talent to these organizations. For the AIDS dress i was thinking of donating to a local AIDS charity but not sure yet. They have to contact me back. Maybe I could give the money from the yellow ribbon dress to a charity that support our military! Thanks so much for the idea it is WONDERFUL!! Actually all these dresses were special request. They ask me to design a breast cancer dress and that is what i came up with and then people contacted me for different color dresses. Just let me know but i think i will make one anyway for my dogs to wear. Melinda sassy-petwear Quote:

Yes I would love to order one I will have to figure out which one of my girls would look the best in YELLOW! I love Yellow myself. I was diagnosed with hydrocephalus ~ right now I just have horrific headaches and sometimes slurred speech and balance issues are currently very rare with me! I will PM you measurements as soon as I figure out which one.. or maybe we will have to get more than one! Deana Prestigeous Yorkies |
Wow thats terrible? What can they do about it?? Do they put shunts in for that?? I can't remember. I have been out of healthcare for a long time now and when you don't use it you lose it. I was mostly cardiac anyway. I worked overtime in the ER periodically but didn't see many cases of that. I feel for you though. I know it must be extremely painful!! Thanks so much Melinda Quote:

Long story about this, they had actually found it 10 years ago and I didn't realize what exactly it was because back then I had three young kids and was just glad I didn't have to have surgery and never was told anything other than we could put in a shunt, then they did a spinal tap and they said I was not a candidate at that time for shunting. Headaches and some symptoms have worsened over the years so I am not real sure what they are going to do. One neurologist just told me he wouldn't treat me for what he called basal artery migraines due to all my other health issues. :( So for now I just take it one day at a time. I have Vasso Depressor syncope too so the meds that would give me would bottom me out on Blood pressure. So I take a lot of naps during the day and these lil Yorkies are my therapy to get me back up and going. Deana Prestigeous Yorkies |
OH MY WORD GIRL!!!! You do have it rough especially with the syncope episodes you suffer from. That would scare the heck out of me. I know what you mean about your babies being your therapy. I use to suffer from horrible panick attacks that left me useless and in a corner in horrible fear. Well guess what!! Sassy cured me. I don't know what happened but about 4 months after I purchased her i quit having the panic attacks and havn't had but 2 since i got her 5 years ago! They are amazing for therapy. They are truly man's best friends aren't they. I do hope your doctor can give you something for your hydrocephelus maybe they can figure out something that will help. Melinda Quote:
