Lacy & Rylie got a makeover! New Grooming products! 4 Attachment(s) I've been waiting ALL WEEK to try these new grooming products since I got them last weekend. I received bottles of John Paul Oatmeal Shampoo and Conditioner from a very sweet YT member last week. And then at the Houston dog show last weekend, I got new Chris Christensen bathing products. I got a bottles of Black on Black shampoo, Gold on Gold shampoo, Thick N Thicker Foaming Protein, After bath, and Ice on Ice. And I also got a container of PetSilk Topknot gel! So...we were ready to try out all this great products! I started by bathing them in the John Paul Oatmeal shampoo to get their coat clean. I then lathered up their gold areas with Gold on Gold Gold On Gold and second lathered up their blue areas with Black on Black. Black On Black I let them sit for five minutes before rinseing them. These shampoos are supposed to enhance and protect their color. I next lathered them up with Thick N Thicker Foaming protein. Thick N Thicker I let this sit for 3 minutes before rinsing. Finally I applied After Bath After Bath which removes shampoo residue and makes their coat softer and easier to brush through. I towel-dried them and generously sprayed Ice on Ice Ice On Ice before brushing and blow drying. This is a leave-in conditioner, coat protector, and even has sunscreen. Once dry, I sprayed a little more ice on Ice and blow dried for one more minute. Their coats are so soft and shiny, and I think the color-enhancing shampoos did work somewhat. Lacy has a lot of running gold and it doesn't seem as apparent now. And I think it did slightly darker Rylie's blue. Their gold looks nice and deep. And the Ice on Ice really made their coat silky and shiny! I also used my Petsilk topknot gel when putting up their topknots and it helped tame any flyaways. It smells so good too! It's not a stiff product so it won't hold down fly-aways forever but it definitely helps with them. I would recommend all of these products! I plan to use the Chris Christensen products ever third bath and use my John Paul shampoo and Conditioner for the two baths in between. And I'll be using the Ice on Ice after every bath. I have some before and after pictures...first is Rylie! 1. Before 2. After 3. Before 4. After |

First of all, AWESOME pics - like, photo studio! Second - day-um. I gotta say - your "befores" are better than ANY "afters" I've ever achieved EVER. But that SHEEN, just wow. Glistening. They look wonderful!!! |
Wow did they ever get a SPA treatment today!!!!! We use CC products, too, and LOVE them. The ice on ice also works great for in-between brushings..... I barely dampen their coats and then comb/brush. Have you tried CC brushes and or buttercombs? They, too, work wonderfully. The pics are gorgeous (but they looked that way beore their bath, too :) ) Thanks for sharing them. I am considering getting some topknot gel..... we have flyaways, too!!! Have a nice weekend. |

I have a CC Pin brush and love it too! I usually just use my comb on Lacy because her coat is coarser and the brush doesn't do much for her, but the brush is amazing for Rylie!! |
Wow! Can I come to your spa for a makeover? :D Lacy and Rylie look wonderful after all that fussing! |
Wow. The pictures are very impressive. I couldn't pay Chloe to pose the way Lacy & Rylie do. They look fabulous both before and after their makeovers...you did a great job! |

They both look gorgeous and their coats are sooooo shiny! Does the Ice on Ice make their coats really shiny and soft? Do you think it would help with matts on a cottony coat? Bella matts so easily. |
