It says you can put in animals fur and wont harm them. |

Whew! Nope, I would not buy the kit...I struggled with Rusty and his dislove of insecticides from the vet.....I used natural products for over a year...we are now trying Mycodex All in one Spray... First, treat the yard or where your baby normally walks. That does the most good. You may have to do this quarterly. For Rusty and dogs like him, he develops immunity to the vet's medicines so he uses other remedies. I have used tea tree oil, medicated dandruff shampoos, Joy, Dawn, Pantene, oatmeal shampoos, powders, soaps, etc. I have to keep changing whatever I am using on him when he develops immunity to it. Fleas develop immunity too. My vet told me that. Treating the yard has shown the most promise. Keeping the fleas away from him is easiest. |

I have heard of several people using the diatomaceous earth (DE) with great success. But it was used on the lawn and in the home on pet bedding, not on the actual dog, although it does say you can use it that way. It does say not to inhale the dust so I would avoid that at all costs. If it were me I would only use the DE on the yard and bedding to be on the safe side. Here is a natural oil that you can put on them and it is suppose to be completely safe and effective. Critter Oil Flea Repellent Between these two things I would think they would be well protected. |
i tried the natural way and spent a lot of money. for us only k9 advantix works. i don't like chemicals , but this is the only stuff that works. i only use it in spring and summer. then we go back to the natural approach. we had bad fleas last year and i honestly tried everything natural that i could get my hands on. i was like a part time job. it ruined my summer. |
What I find wrong with the kit............. What I find wrong is a fear of false advertising.....fleas have been here since time began and nothing has eradicated them.......Know what I mean? Each doggie is different as to what works where fleas are concerned, and to advertise a kit to solve the problem is just a pure gimmick to get your money, IMHO. Oh, another natural thing fleas can't stand is cedar or cedar bedding. I sprinkled it all around the house and ants or fleas will not come near it. I used it for years with rescues from unknown places and it works for me. Make pillows using it for the stuffing in your babies beds etc.........no more spraying the bedding.................. |
