It's me again, I'm so glad I found this post and I'm getting some great feedback on what everyone likes.... Now, just to let everyone know I do offer barrettes for those who like to use 5/8" by 1-1/4".... All the smaller bows are just too small (Hope this helps... Teresa.... |
Hi, I wanted to chime in - I share the opinion of magsy17 (answer #4) and myfairlacy (answer #5). Marjorie is fast, quality, good customer service, always works with me on matching bows to fabric/dress. I send her a picture of the dress & she puts a bow together for me, I love the surprise effect of opening the package and seeing what she has put together for a particular dress :D. I can't get myself to try someone else -- why? I know I'll be happy with whatever she puts together. Marjorie please don't increase the price, please. ;) |
Thanks for the review:) I have ordered from her and i just LOVE all her bows!!! i looove them, they are sooo cute and very very well made! None of mine have broke at all |
I have a ton of Ladymom's bows and I always buy a couple for my GE buddies! :) I just wanted to chime in and say that I think her bows are gorgeous!!! I think her prices are fair too. I probably have about 20 of her bows and they have held up great and she matches my babies' outfits beautifully. Thanks Marj! :) |
I want to thank everyone for your wonderful compliments! I am so glad you are happy with my bows. I do get people suggesting to me all the time that I should raise my price, but don't worry, I don't plan on it. I started making bows almost five years ago because I refused to pay ridiculous prices for bows, wait months to get them or invest in bows that didn't last. I wanted to offer a high quality bow at a reasonable price and process orders fast because I know how anxious I am to get things after I order them. ;) FYI, I do sell my bows to several boutiques for $4 each and most resell them for at least $10 each. Boutique of Paws sells my bows for $12 each. Shop Online at Boutique of Paws |
ooo i agree with everything you said. but i think the price for marj's bows are very fair. i was just about to custom order some new bows from marj~ :D |
Izzy is the same weight (2.8) with thin top-knot as well. I have a few of Marj's bows (M'Lady's Bows) and I love them. I have bows in every shape, size, backing, hard ones/soft ones, etc., for Izzy. I am partial to the barrette backing as I have a few with bands and it's very hard for me to keep them in her hair unless I wrap about 3 times. I only get one use out of the rubberband since it's tight in her hair and sometimes gets caught and then I have to snip it out of her hair and then I'm only getting two uses out of the $4 bow. I haven't tried any of The Diva Dog bows so I can't comment on her bows but again I would only buy the ones with the barrette backing. ;) Marj we love your work and thank you for making us a quality show bow without the high prices!:D |
Marj's bows are so cute..they have become a new addiction for me. ;) I just love how creative she is and also that she has the option of using an alligator clip. Tammy |
