Canine Cooling Pads Has anyone ever used this product before? It says that it can be reactivated many times..........but how many times can it be used? Does it work effectively? My poor Scooter (he's almost 10) gets very hot in the afternoons......his tongue nearly hangs to the floor! https://www.cocojor.com/wshop/cgi-bi...r=HOME:Cooling |
G.W. Little carries these and I too was wondering about them for my furbabies. They seem really neat, but I have no idea if they work or not  |
Interesting....thanks anne |

HELP! Do Cooling Pads Work? I was just looking at them too... they had 3 different sizes (I believe). I was going to buy 3 of the larger ones... but I wanted to know how good they worked first. I'm on a loaner laptop right now, so I can't look up the web site, until I get mine back from being fixed. I know you have to get them wet to activate the cooling product... but do they stay wet? Or do they dry? Could one put them under their bed sheets without ruining the mattress? Okay the crazy thing I was thinking, was I wanted two of them for myself and one for Ms. Lola. Sad thing is that I'm going into early menopause and I've been so darn hot for the past 2 years. I'm only turning 40 next month (Aug 23) and I thought this wasn't suppose to happen for many, many years. But at least I got my baby Lola :D She just has more hair then some of the other babies out there. Oh my, I can't wait for these horrible night sweats :embarasse to end, because sleeping... SUCK!!!! I wake up and feel like I've been swimming all night. I've had the AC running for 3 days straight and I'm still hot. I think this is why I have insomnia. I just don't want to lay down. I wish I could sleep in a walk-in freezer :p and not be in the morgue. I would be the happiest woman on this planet. I sure hope someone has tried them! |
I know what that is...... have any of you ever been to a big fair and have seen this stuff that looks like jello in a vase and you put your indoor plants in it and you don't have to water it for a long time. They start by looking like small crystal rocks then they are place in a bowl or vase, you put water in it and I think in a few hours the crystals absorb the water and they look like jello. You can add food coloring to make them look pretty....lol Well, that is what they use in between 2 layers of fabrics, you sock it in your tub and it expands like a pillow. You just can not put it on your carpet because it is wet, when it dries it goes flat and you just put it back in water for it to fluff up again (and be wet again too). I had bought one at a dog show a few years ago and when I put it in the water and felt it I knew right away what was in it.....you see when I was young my mom used it in her plants forever, but her plants always look healthy. I myself never got use to the feel of it so I ended throwing mine away and just put wet towels down for the furbutts to lay on. The feel thing is just ME, this could be great for you. :) |
