It's such a shame that you can't see those Lookout seats in person somewhere!!! It's really hard to determine how large of one you need just by dimensions....although, I did cut out a piece of paper with the dimensions on it to see how big of one I'd need but that was when I was thinking about the console seat, which is no longer an option since I've got 2 dogs now;).

Brooke, have you come to a decision which one you are getting? I'm interested to see your two in one of them. I'm having the same problem b/c I want something that will fit in our car's backseat if we decide to drive our own car (we usually rent a bigger car for all MY stuff that I take:rolleyes: and now all of the dog's stuff:)) and one that will be big enough for both to be comfortable for 10 hours.

I'm starting to like the laundry basket idea, LOL.

Someone said something about securing them: don't some laundry baskets have sort of slats in them where you could slide the seatbelt thru:confused:.

The large and the My Buddy are not the same product. Earlier I posted a link to another website that gives the dimensions of the My Buddy, it is an inch wider than the large and has two harness straps. I would think any of the carriers could go in the back seat. The large and Buddy would be too large for the front seat in most vehicles.

The car seats come in three different sizes:

1. Small/Regular - this one is pretty small.. the website says: 15”x 17”x 19”- one pet up to 18 lbs, but I'd say it would comfortably hold one under 7-8lbs.

2. Medium/Oversized - 22”x 17”x 19”- one pet up to 25 lbs. I've thought about getting this one for my two - they would both fit but I do not think they would be comfortable (they are 10lbs each). However it only comes with one harness attachment so you'd have to buy a coupler or something.

3. Large/My Buddy - the website doesn't list the dimensions anymore, but this supposed to hold two small dogs. It's apparently large, like everyone has said. I've heard it takes up half the backseat! Not to mention it's super expensive, lol.

I would suggest the Medium/Oversized one.. The large one won't fit in your front seat and your babies are TINY! Hope this helps. :)

Pet Car Seat - GW Little

Yes it can go in the back or front seat and they can look out the window since it's high up. I actually put all 3 of mine in it yesterday and they were side to side, close together but they all fit so it would be fine for a short ride. But it's better to have just 2 if they want to spread out on it and sleep for a long ride, so i think a medium is good for your little ones;)
