i need help re: carrier i have looked everywhere for a carrier/tote to support a 2 pound yorkie. he will be only 4 pounds tops when hes mature, so i need a really tiny bag! also, i really want one with shorter straps/adjustable because the one that i bought on ebay is really cute, but the straps are so long that the bag hits my hip area, and i find that its really uncomfortable/tyce is probably getting bounced around like crazy! it would totally be suitable for a larger dog though, its a beautiful bag. (this is it, if anyone wants to take a look, or maybe even buy it from me? hahah...Lilac Pet Carrier w/Accessory Bag for Small Dogs - (eBay.ca item 190225074879 end time 01-Jun-08 23:31:38 EDT)). ALSO, if anyone knows any good pet shops in TORONTO, that would be cool. let me know! thanks! |
have you seen the slings??? i dont know if they have adjustable straps but it looks like it would support a lil one Dakko Messenger Dog Carrier |
ive always wondered about them; do you know what its like around their necks? i feel like the fabric would be tight up against it from the pull of the strap when they decide to stick their heads out. |
What kind are you looking for? Zip closure or snap? Here's one that just got relisted. Pet Dog Carrier Melon Orange Teacup XXS Size - eBay (item 190230803679 end time Jul-18-08 16:05:19 PDT) |
with ones like that that dont have the little windows on the side, i feel like their necks are sitting right on the top "ledge" of the bag. i dont know maybe im just being super anal haha. i would prefer a zip. |
Hi, Just saw this thread. We carry lots of different carriers on our website. I particularly like the slings for my small yorkies. Take a look! Designer Dog Carriers |
I have also been looking for a pet carrier for my puppy. She should be 4-5 pounds fully grown. I am having a hard time finding one that is incognito. Simple, maybe something that has flaps on the sides to cover the vents but leave one on the top for air?? The last one I had was very obvious that there was a dog in there and I felt weird taking her into some places. Let me know what you find or use |
3 Attachment(s) If you want to be incognito, these puppy slings are wonderful. They have a zipper with a space left open on the top for the puppys head. There is also an open one but since you said you did not want people to necessarily know you have a dog with you. |
