pet shops in the UK??
 

Ok i didnt know where to post this :thinking: i just got alittle harness for Bailey coz i found out on YT :awink: that a harness is better. So yesterday i wanted to make sure that i got the last of the things i had on the list to get him. so i went out and searched high and low for a little, sexy, cute, jazzy harness for him. NOPE not here in Newcastle UK there is nothing really. no pet stores that sell anything for little dogs :cry8: i went to the only petstore in the Newcastle area which is about an hour from me and there was ONE little black harness which if i make it as small as it can go fits him lovely but i was a little sad coz i wanted a jazzy one. We have no dog parks that are enclosed where i live or any pet shops that have little dog clothes in or anything like that which annoys me alot as i know if they did i would spend so much there. I'm not confident about buying online but i have seen some people on YT showing clothes for sale on there site which i LOVE but what i have seen there are non from the UK is there any UK Yorkie talkers that have things for sale for little dogs? OR do people from the USA ship to the UK? humm ok i hope that all made sense LOL :D

I know you said you're not confident about buying online but have you tried ebay? If you set up a paypal account you can't go wrong. I have bought a lot of stuff on ebay and only ever had a problem twice and I got my money back off paypal both times! I've had some great little dog clothes,harnesses,toys etc. etc. Just have a look and set up an account its easier than you might think! Good luck!!!

I am sure many of the sellers on YT will ship to the UK. maybe ask the other UK members who they buy from. Gypsy&Me Vicky may have some advice.

I do have advise!!! :D We had the same problem... we did fibd though that pets store stock harnesses for rabbits and ferrets... these fit the little guys! ;) I wish I'd of kept the small ones I had now otherwise I would of sent you one... :(

i went to the petstore and also used a rabbit one .. i loved it and it fitted bailey fine but they said coz the bit that goes around his neck and chest didnt have the thing in the middle connecting it (does that make sense) that it was still pulling on his neck and would b no good :( so we couldnt get it :(:(:(

I still have the first harness i bought Pixie, i was amazed when i found it as it was the smallest harness i had ever seen for a dog! she barely used it to be honest as i then went and bought a Puppia one.The harness is red with 'puppy dog' written all over it...very cute!..how big is bailey? if you send me his measurements you would be very welcome to it!;)

If it was me I would modify the rabbit one... I'd fasten something to the parts that go round the neck and the chest to join them together and that would then stop it pulling on his neck.

Im in UK and though i have chihuahuas not yorkies my two little ones are tiny.I use step in harness's with an adjustable back for them.:)

Aww, sweet little baby! :)

She looks ALOT different to that now! loads more hair for a start!:p
