Anyone have either of these playpens? Walmart.com : North State - Superyard XT Portable Playard & Gate : Gear I'd like to get a playpen. I have a traditional exercise pen but it is so heavy and I hate dealing with all the clips. I should have gotten the smallest one but because I originally purchased it for a kitten so I got the tallest one. Any reviews, suggestions, tips, etc.? Thanks! |
For anyone who has the Walmart playpen, Could I just purchase two of these? I don't need it to be that big. Walmart.com : North States SuperYard XT Extension Kit : Health & Safety |
I have the one from Walmart & love it! North State - Superyard XT Portable Playard I use it for puppies when they are small - in a rectange shape (3'x6') You can add the extension kit to it - it just snaps in. You can just get the 2 extension kits & put them together to make 4 piece square (3'x3'). But I would get the 6 piece & take off the extra pieces when not in use. |
I didn't like the one from Wal Mart at all, but a lot of people do. I'm a clean freak and it gets dirt or whatever in all the little corners and the only way to get it clean is to take it outside with the hose and use q-tips. Hard to do in the wintertime here...LOL I've not seen the first one pictured....it looks really nice. I just use a 2 foot high metal exercise pen. It's not heavy, comes with a handle for easy carrying if need be. |
My sister has it and liked it the only thing is if you have a jumper or a climber I do not recommend it. |
i have the one from walmart 4 Attachment(s) i love the northstate. it fits perfectly in my kitchen... and luckily, Kash does not jump out of it (and i hope he never learns how!). here are some pictures. |
ARGH! It's nice ... we just paid a LOT more ... I might have to do a refund or something ... darn petsmart!!! |

I got the first one - the iris one, from amazon. Emmy figured out how to get out of it in one day. She was about 14 wks-ish. Sent that back, got the other one, love it! She can't climb out. |
