If so, have you gotten yours yet?

I am sadden because I think I am getting the "run around" with my order from Feb.:(

I know I have been in contact w/ the seller on several occassions on my order, but I haven't heard anything in a long time.

I have also been in contact w/ several other members who I knew placed orders, after some delays and various reasons, they have now gotten theirs.

So....I am hopeful...but just wanted to see if there was anyone else waiting.

No, she's a YT member, she had it posted. PayPal told me to go thru my credit card company, but I, being the wonderfully nice person I am, am still holding out hope.

I didn't even want to post this, but I just had to because I have had so many "reasons" why I don't have them...."got lost in the mail....TWICE", "washer ate them", etc. :cry8:

And I thought this seller and I were on pretty "friendly" terms, we chatted often, even off of YT (via email). Darn!

I just wanted to post in this thread to support you. The way that you have been treated is WRONG and Mellisa ("myzzbrat") knows this as well. You know what I went through with trying to get my rag quilts from her, too....such a pain! :( :thumbdown Here's hoping that she decides to do the right thing.

I ordered 3 or 4 and haven't got them yet. but she told me it might be awhile this was when she posted them:confused::confused::confused:

I ordered a large one for my bed and haven't received it yet but she has been PMing and emailing me with progress reports so I'm trying to be patient:)

I think she was probably overwhelmed w/ the response for them.....which is good for her! :) I am a very patient and kind person....and you can imagine that it took me this long to post to ask others about theirs. The thing that got me, is that she would PM me and say mine were shipped, after awhile, I would PM her and apparently they were lost in the mail (this "happened" more then once, along w/ others), etc, etc. So, I am just worried and kind of saddened because there have been so many "excuses" about what happened to them. She tells me they are done and shipped or that something happened to them. I just wish that if they aren't done, that she would just be honest and stop getting my hopes up and worrying when they don't come, etc.

I have received several PM's from members who are in a similiar situation w/ her...so I am "glad" (well, you know) that I am not the only one. :cry8:

I hope you get yours. I just started one to see if I would enjoy making them and how time consuming it is to make one...I'm curious why her thread got closed?:confused:

Yes I ordered one for my daughter...it did take a long time to get....I ordered it in feb and just recieved it a few weeks ago. It is really cute and she did keep in contact with me. I know that she told me that mine had gotten ruined in the washing machine and that's why it had taken a while to get. I really hope you get yours soon though.

I did get mine about a month and a half ago. I used to PM Mellissa about once a week for a progress report and I think she sent mine out when yours got lost in the mail the first time.

I hope Mellissa is able to get you yours soon.

I purchased a couple of them when she first posted these. Though I was also one that was eaten in the washer she had showed me pics of the damage it was not an excuse it was the truth. It did take some time for me to get mine but what I received was well worth the wait. These are not a walk in the park to make. There is a lot of hands on cutting each individual square. If you can imagine there is probably over 500 individual cuts. That is a lot. I know she's been doing the best she can with everything that is going on. She is a really open and honest person. I do not think she's taken anyones money with the intention of never giving the product. But when unforseen circumstances arise all we can do is be patient and wait. Believe me your blankets will be well worth the wait. Her son is terribly ill. Thats no excuse or even a laughing matter. I think that if you were to put yourself in her shoes being a single mother with a sick sick child that you take each day as you can. I doubted when she started her initial thread on her blankets that she expected her son to get sick and be in the hospital for days on end. Please be patient her finished results are remarkable.

Jenn is a super sweet and understanding person and it seems that she has been extremely patient. It sounds like she would just appreciate a little communication and I don't blame her.

I started this post to see if I was the only one or if others were having issues getting theirs....I didn't start it to bad mouth Mellisa...in fact, I even PM'ed her to let her know I was going to post this.

I am a very patient person and I know what it takes to handmake quilts...my grandmother (who is close to 90) is still making quilts and my daughter & I normally help her out when we can. So, yes, I understand the concept of quilt making. And I am not a single mother, but I have close friends who have 2, 3, 4 kids that are single parents...and I know what a hardship that can be.

I have communicated w/ Mellisa all that I can....we chatted for a long time and then after the second or so "reason" for no quilts, our communication drifted. --and that was before your son got sick. I never received pictures of the completed or even damaged quilts....I asked and asked...and I finally got pictures of the cut squares, before they were pieced together. AND I know w/ anything handmade...you can't expect it in month...and I never did.

I'm still not saying anything bad about her....because I have enjoyed our chats....I just wanted to be reassured that this wasn't just me not getting my quilts and not just me that were getting different stories about them. I hate to say it, but I am glad that there are others.....I know that sounds bad, but I am just glad that it wasn't something about "me"....as petty as that may sound.:rolleyes:

I know the last time I heard from her was when she messaged me that she wasn't trying to avoid me..that her son became ill. I haven't heard back from her, but know of others who have gotten some sort of PM message regarding their quilts.

Anyways, I let her know when I messaged her about me posting this...and I want to comment about it again for you and others...this wasn't started to bad mouth her (in anyway, shape or form)....this is an open forum where we has a Yorkie community can come together and discuss what we feel needs to be discussed. If people have had a wonderful buying experience ...that is great and this is a good place to post about it....if they haven't had a good experience buying...again, this is the place to post about it. This is the products and reviews section...and no matter if friend or foe, everyone has the right to express their concerns and/or thoughts. :hug:

You have been more than understanding about all of this! You and I both know how many lies Mellisa told about these quilts. :thumbdown There were many excuses and lies and her stories changed one person to the next. I still hope that she does the right thing and either sends you what you paid for or just refunds your money.

I ordered one back when she first posted and as of yet haven't received it. I ordered it for Mother's Day. Obviously it didn't make it. :( I'm still holding out hope. Just wish she would give me an update.

I can't believe a YT seller has set up a fake account, to lie about the order.:thumbdown Not cool. I really hope you all get your money back or at least want you paid for. Maybe she was ashamed or embarrassed after reading the posts and wasn't sure how to come back and reply & instead came under a different name to "explain"....nevertheless, that never works and isn't right and whatever the reason, be it overwhelming response, work overload, family issues, it should have just been communicated to those involved.

Sorry to those who didn't get their blankets..I hate to see this happen to honest and dedicated members...Hopefully she'll make things right with those of you she needs to when she comes back on. Communication is key! :)

I don't think she was embarrassed, for the reason that the CherryCove account was created in January 2008. I smell something fishy about that.
