4 Attachment(s) WOW ! What can I say.....I am grinning here from ear to ear !!! :D ....BIG HEAD OR WHAT, LOL !!!! Thanks sooo much everyone for saying such lovely things ! Yes, I am feeling better after my surgery, (though still have very bad days due to EDS)....I think that's why I've been doing so much Art....that's not like me at all....I usually only manage one or two at most a year.....but I am still doing some now.....a drawing of Casper for his first Mum who isn't well....and then I will try and do Tammykins ! :) Well, no I don't have a web-site....but I would do one every now and then if I get a good pic of your dogs etc....it's the money bit that I always get embarrised about ! I have had soooo many people want me to do one for nothing or as a favour....I really don't mind for friends at all, but they take so many hours and my hands get sore and it gives me migraines for some reason....my Mum is thinking it's the way my neck is bent ???? .....so to do tens and tens for no money at all is when I get used left right and centre(Kenny gets mad as he struggles to pay bills on one wage !).....so anyone who would like one, then fine, that would be absolutely lovely, but I really can't do them all for nothing....SORRY ! ....I only wish I could ! The watercolour paper is very expensive, paints and brushes don't last, I have to moan at Kenny my hubby to do borders for me, and I have to buy frames and all that goes with them(well Kenny buys them for me)....tho' when going overseas from Scotland I would post them unframed, so as not not get a parcel of glass ! So if that doesn't put anyone off, then by all means, pm me, and I will see if I can do one ! Watercolours in shops here are £500 and over, Pencil drawings £100-200, so it wouldn't be as much as that, but that gives you an idea of what I should charge. I have been paid £350 once for one watercolour....that was nice, but that was years ago....now I am just a poor artist hee hee ! (...but a happy one ! :yelrotflm ) I do Watercolours and Pencil Drawings....and to me it is just a hobby, though a shop once wanted everything I could do....but I decided it would be too demanding considering my health:rolleyes: ! I was accepted for Art College at 17, but I stupidly came home for my first love after 2 days there ! Then I met Kenny about a year later.....and didn't want to leave him ! (says she....23 years down the line, and coming up to our 20th Wedding Anniversary in August, hee hee) ....THANKS FOR BEING SO KIND ALL OF YOU !!! It is sooo nice to see you are all still on YT....I came on a couple of months ago and it was dead ! Just think....Ashley is at the National Hairdressing Finals in Blackpool, England.....I will put up what she did when she gets home as she is taking photos for me.....another Artist ! Sorry tried to get this on last post, but it wouldn't let me ha ha.... ALL of my paintings (or drawings) are... ORIGINAL WATERCOLOURS ...N O T prints of them ...like I usually see people charging vast amounts for. ....I do not get any prints of anything....watercolour or drawing, so ALL of mine are a one-off....there are no more out there, no runs of 500 plus ! All are numbered and signed as Originals....just in case anyone is confused by others offering prints...which are a bit cheaper but there are loads of them in circulation. So anyone who has recieved a gift of one from me....it's an ORIGINAL ! :D .....and it's my greatest pleasure to do it;) :animal-pa Debra x x x |

She is a hiding member and only mid 30's, so some prayers would be nice....and her Yorkies are having puppies.....this time 5 for a first litter of her latest breeding female !!! ....her stud has fathered many though;) She breeds Lhasa Apsos and Yorkies ! :thumbup: :) |

Debra, Your so very talented. In fact it looks like your whole family is also. Your paintings and drawlings are just beautiful. I can barely draw a straight line and still make stick figures:p when drawing people with my granddaugher. I will keep you in mind. I have been thinking of getting a picture of Buddy done for my family room wall. Love all your pictures. Love your furbaby's too:p |
