Juicy Carrier vs. Hello Kitty Carrier?
 
Hi, I am in need of a new carrier for Ivy, and I am stumped in choosing one of these two bags. Both the Juicy one and the Hello Kitty one are extremely cute. What I like most about the Hello Kitty one is that it looks like a normal purse, which would let me sneak Ivy into many places without getting caught ;) Has anyone seen the Hello Kitty one up close or know if it has any pocket inside for at least my wallet, cell phone? Which carrier would you recommend? The pics of each one are below. Thanks for the help!

yea i also like the hello kitty one, but I was hoping someone here had seen it on the inside, because I needed some pockets or something on the inside so I can put my wallet and cell phone.

yea it looks a little small, the dimensions for each are below. The only good thing is that little Ivy is only 2.5lbs ;)

Dimensions for Hello Kitty: 19" x 9" x 6.25"

Dimensions for Juicy: 13" x 9" x 8"

I actually had the Juicy one at one time, but the straps killed my shoulders. Otis is 7 pounds, though. If your baby is only 2 pounds, I'd get the Juicy for sure! :)

I would definitely get the Juicy one, then!! I assure you it's well made. And I know the larger Juicy carrier had a place for cell phones and wallets, and even a little mirror.

As for the Hello Kitty one, I couldn't see spending $264 on a purse from a company that is known for manufacturing stickers and erasers and pencil boxes.

I've heard, i don't know for sure, that the juicy ones can get heavy. I like the Juicy on though. How old is Ivy, is she still growing>

Is the Juicy bag too big? Is it obvious that it is a dog bag? Or does it pass by as a normal purse because I take Ivy with me everywhere, and I need a bag that looks like a normal purse so that I wont get kicked out of places.

Ivy is 1 year and 3 months, and she has stopped growing.

I would get the Hello Kitty. It passes more easily as a purse imo.

I was also surprised at the price of Hello Kitty but I really like it. It's a tough choice - both are so nice. I think the Juicy looks more like a carrier and the name catches people's eye more, drawing attention to the bag. The Hello Kitty really looks like just a purse so I guess I would go with that one for sneaking her around. Sorry, can't help with the pockets.

I really like the Hello Kitty one. It looks more comfortable than the Juicy carrier. :cool: Maybe it's because I've seen so many Juicy carriers lately.

THE HELLO KITTY BAG LOOKS LIKE ITS MADE VERY GOOD...A REALLY NICE BAG. I ALSO LOVE THE JUICY BAG....ANYTHING JUICY...I LOVE!!!!!

I had the Juicy one. It would be great for a very small dog about 3-4lbs, maybe even 5lbs. The Hello Kitty one is cute, but I am not really a huge fan of Hello Kitty and therefore couldn't justify paying that much for it. It seems pretty big though. Maybe a little more room to move around for your pooch. Are there any stores that sell them so you can compare in person?

Hey all,

I wanted to drop a line and let you guys that are interested in the Hello Kitty bag that we have been watching the mail every day for these things, we still havn't seen them in person. We have about 24 coming in.. (crossing fingers) as soon as we get them I'll give you guys a full review :)
