Nylabone Double Action Chew? Does anyone have this? How do they furbabies like it? And also is it safe? I did a search and read that there was a concern about the Nylabone safety, but I think that was the eatable ones. http://toysandtreats.petedge.com/Nyl...hews-TF767.pro |

Don't believe what you read please. This product is dangerous to your dog. It's plastic and particles or fragments can come off and be ingested and cut the inside of your pet's intestines or stomach lining causing bleeding. Read the back label. It states small fragments the size of rice can come off and SHOULD PASS! When they do not pass your pet's insides are cut up and bleeding occurs. I would never buy Nylabone products of any kind ever again. |
Oh wow! That is horrible! Thanks for the warning, my baby def wont have any of those! What other dental chews can you recommend? I already bought the Kong dental stick with the puppy paste. |

I believe they are beef bones. Look for the real small ones. It needs to fit into you pet's mouth so he can keep those teeth clean. Buddy is an intensive chewer and nylabones made him very sick when he was 10mos old. Hospitalized him for 4days that's why I suggest to stay away from them. Always read the label real good. |
Oh my god! I had a bad feeling about it. What were Buddy's symptoms? Jambo just loved the Nylabone Dental Chews with the little spikes. He too is an intensive chewer and tends to tear up the little spikes. I took it away from him when he started his hacking/honking. I didn't think anything too bad about these as it stated that small fragments can be digested. Even my vet had given it the okay. I took it away from him anyways but now I am worried that I did not take it away in time. |
