Urine gone... Anyone try this? I saw this at Lowes the other day, the one that was on tv. It is called urine gone and it is suppose to get rid of pee spots and the smell of it. It comes with a black light. I thought I would give it a try. I had a couple old spots on the carpet so I thought I would give it a try. It works great!! Just like the ad said it would!! I used it on a visible spot, I had the black light shining on while I sprayed it. And you could see the stain disappearing under the black light. I turned the lights back on and the stain was gone. It has enzymes in it as well so it really gets rid of the smell. I was really impressed!! I have tried several things and none have had such a great result other than just using our regular hoover carpet cleaner. So I highly recommend you give it a try!!:thumbup: |
I have not tried it but have been curious to know if it works. I will go and pick some up. How big is the bottle? |
Yes, I have tried this product. Unfortunately I could never get the light to work. Anyone who purchases this should first check out the light in the store before bringing it home! |
I tried it. I think because of the kind of carpet I have, the black light glows whether there is urine or not. I personally have not found that it eliminates the urine odor any more than any other product. |
I actually ordered some from a YT member and I really liked it. When I finished the bottle, I bought some Nature's Miracle. Out of the two, I actually like the Urine Gone better. I haven't seen it in any stores around here though, so I might be forced to stick with Nature's Miracle :p |
I remember having some problems with the black light at first, too. I eventually got it to work though. I think it had something to do with the batteries, but I can't remember exactly :confused: Quote:

Urine Gone Works Wonders! OMG. so crazy. i got some from my Boyfriend's mom. she got it off the TV. but i LOVED it. worked SOOOO good. but after we ran out we didn't know where to get anymore!! i'm going to go to Lowe's... but my little guy is getting WAYY better at potty training. hasn't gone in the house in 3 days which is a big step from everyday!! we give him a treat in the morning if there's no mess. he's been a goodboy!! |
I just saw this last night at Walmart in their "as seen on TV section". It didn't come with the black light, though. |
I've seen it at Target with and without the blacklight. |
