Donations of toys and beds Mocha has a variety of toys that she's played with maybe once or twice that I would rather give away then sell to someone used. She also has an old bed (which has been used and washed..she has a new bed she got for Christmas) that I want to donate since it is still good enough for use. I would hate to throw it away. Does anyone know where I can donate these gently used items (does Goodwill or the Salvation Army take them?) or be willing to take them from me? Please let me know. Knowing that these items can brighten up another puppy's life would be better than throwing them away in the trash. |

Maybe you could drop them off at the local humane society or animal shelter? Im SURE they would need them! |
If they are washed and clean, you can donate them to a local shelter. I'm sure they have foster homes that could use them. |

I always make a gift basket at Christmas time for the Humane Society with toys, blankets, towels, treats and I also donate any gently used items there as well :) |
I'm glad I can do it. Mocha is overly spoiled and there's a whole stash of her stuff she barely touches, and to give it to a furbaby in need..there are no words. we also went shopping today to find new toys and things that Miss Tweedle might like. Needless to say, Mocha (the princess) wanted one of everything too so I bought double. :rolleyes: |
