Angel's Eye Hi all, Does anyone use this product to reduce tear stain? Is it safe to use on our furbabies? How does it work? Where is the best place to buy it?? Thanks!! |
Yes i currently use this for my maltese twice a week. It works really great, along with washing his face daily. I get mine at www.amazon.com. Thats the cheapest place i have found it:thumbup: |
2 Attachment(s) I use it for my maltichon, Chloe and it works great. Not 100% sure what is in it....dried liver and thought some kind of antibiotic. I placed my first order directly from the Angel Eyes web site and when I placed my second order I submitted before and after pics and received a free bottle. Here are some before and after pics. |
NEED more info.... I read some info on Angel Eyes and it says it works from the "inside out" which kinda scares me. How long has this product been on the market and has anyone used it for a considerable period of time? I would love to try it... but would like to hear more about it before I purchase any. ALSO... is there anything that can be used directly on the stain that works well... AND is safe for the eyes? I have looked at various products but some of them say... keep away from eyes..... What the heck???? ...... it is EYE tear stains!!! So I have been staying away from those products. ANYONE????? |

I just bought a bottle of this, but I'm not sure whether or not I'm going to use it. I posted this thread the other day http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=106512. I have no doubt that it works, but it may not be good for them in the long run. |
Does it stop the tears or just stop the staining? |
Ihave never used the product, however, I recently did some research on the product and the active ingredient it contains. Here is a link to the post I started: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...ght=angel+eyes And because I want as many people to read about the product, here is a copy of my post: I was investigating a product called Angel Eyes for my Mother-In-Law. She has an apricot poodle with horrid eye stains. The product is made from Tylosin as Tartrate and beef liver. Of course I just had to know what Tylosin was and what if any side effects. This little tidbid of information really slapped me in the face. It is a antibacterial agent that is quite safe for use in small animals and dogs, however..... one of the major side affects is that: Tylosin may falsely elevate certain liver blood tests (ALT and AST). If your furkid has had an unexplained elevated ALT or AST and is currently on a Tylosin drug this might be the reason. Here are three sites that reference the effects on ALT and AST http://www.marvistavet.com/html/body_tylosin.html http://www.petplace.com/drug-library...lan/page1.aspx http://www.vetinfo4dogs.com/deffect....s%20with%20IBD It might be a good thing to mention this to your vet if you are using a Tylosin based drug and are going in for a liver profile. |
My girls have gotten this supplement since I've had them, with a short break when I ran out and kept forgetting to reorder. They have no health problems at all, Izzy is 19 months and Luna is 17 months old. |
My boys use it and I sell it in my boutique It flys out the doors Basically if you make sure to use it The product does work if you skip or forget It of course does not I had one customer tell me his dog had diarea from it I have never heard that from anyone else , There is also a product called eye envy i think they are tear stain wipes I heard alot of good things about that some people use both together;) |

so, besides Angel's Eye..is there any other product out there can help with the tear stain that is more safe? |
I want to try Eye Envy only because it works on the outside. I also don't want to give something internally. Has anyone tried Eye Envy? |
I haven't used the product, but from the research I've done about the ingredients contained in Angel Eyes, it is a safe product. Has anyone discussed the product with thier vet? |
Hey guys, I was resesarching a safe tearstain product for our store to carry and asked a lot of fellow retailers what was best in terms of top sellers and effectiveness. I was told to stay away from the above as it does have antibiotics in it and to try to carry eye envy instead as it's effective and safe. It's a popular line and I've never used it myself as my girl doesn't need it but that's what I've learn from my research. http://www.sassypup.net/Tearstain-Ey...p-1-c-378.html |
