Best gifts for GE This will be my first time for GE and i need some really great ideals... please share with me the best gifts you ever rec'd. |
We've gotten some really great gifts, but the two that stand out in my mind were a super soft towel with dog bones on it that we use to "spa" days and a really cute metal frame with stainless bowls in it. The first toy Sissy got from a gift exchange was one of the sushi toys and it is still a favorite!!! |
I can't say that we have a favorite toy.....most of our favorite things, we list in our GE sign-up sheet (unless we forget and have to add it to one of the many "parent/helpful hints" thread). One of Mojo's favorite toys is one of those TY mini beanies (like McDonald's had in their happy meals a long time ago). I took the bag of plastic beans out and replaced them with an XS squeaker. It is a cat and he can not go to bed without that thing!! Lily's favorite toy is "Rupert"...it is a plush mouse (kids plush) that is about 10-12 inches long. It is very worn out, I have had to stitch it up a few times since we have had her. This is one of the toys that came with her from her other house....she loves that thing, will sleep with it, carry it around, etc. OH...I just thought....Mojo got an Everlasting Treat Ball (it is a treat, but a toy too I guess) and that was a HUGE hit. I put it up in hopes that Lily will get one (because she wanted his sooo badly), so when we get her one and get refills, that will be their favorite thing again! |
Hard Question! You sure do ask hard questions! :D I think tihs is the 6th GE I have participated in and I have gotten some really terrific gifts. The best gift was the love that ooozzzed out of the box and surrounded the furbaby participating and me. Some of our favorites: Small Everlasting Treat Balls -- You can NEVER have too many of them. Hair bows -- especially those made by our YT members Blankets -- can you ever have enough? My kids don't wear clothes but I have a growing collection that I love -- so I'm an odd sort -- I collect handmade Doggie Clothes :) gimme gimme Especially those made with love especially for my furkids. My ALL TIME FAVORITE two items were the Official YorkieTalk "T" shirt and Mug. I have the Shirt packed up so it won't get messed up and I use the mug almost every day with my morning coffee. I can honestly say that I have loved and appreciated every single item we have ever received. My furbabies are a bit more particular, though. |
