The story about the Yorkie abuse is a nightmare........and last night I abused MY Yorkie WITH a nightmare! I was having a vivid dream about getting some family photos down from a closet shelf and someone jumped out and hit me over the head and I woke myself and my little Sascha up with a bloodcurdling scream.........this poor dog was traumatized and it is no exaggeration to say I scared her so badly she growled and prowled the house from room to room for THREE hours afterwards........this experience taught me how sensitive and affected these animals are when they are yelled at or screamed at by frustrated people, much less physically abused.

And one of the factors in profiling serial murderers is engaging in animal abuse.....AND when there is domestic violence in the home, pets are often additional victims.........how sad is that?

Below is the information both on the crime committed by this boy who sodomized a Yorkie in our state, and the the judge who is hearing his case Sept 10th ~ She must have these letters BEFORE the arraingment date! On August 3rd, we learned of a terrible act against a 7 lb yorkie who was repeatedly sodomized and thrown in a dumpster by the owners grandson. A letter went out (see below) and we were able to solicit enough funds to help the elderly couple pay for the extensive surgery and veterinary aftercare required to save this dog's life. The young man who did this awful thing, has a criminal history in Brevard County (Titusville), but he is being tried in Clearwater because that is county where the act took place. His name is Nicholas R. Densmore, case # CRC0716624CFANO, UCN #22007CF016624XXXXNO and he is scheduled for arraignment on Sept 10, at 1:30 pm in courtroom 8/T by Judge Nancy Moate Ley. It will be held at the Criminal Justice Center, in Clearwater.

We are asking for as many people as possible to write to the judge and urge the highest possible sentence for this disgusting act of animal cruelty. Please write to Judge Nancy M. Ley, it will only take a minute to write and this young man needs to be brought to justice!

I couldn't help but think of my baby as I read this. Words cannot express how very awful this is. I just feel like weeping and weeping. Before we crucify this young man we must all remember but for the grace of God. He must really have some horrible issues in his own life. I am so .......just sick to my stomach. We should be in prayer for him, the grandparents and parents if he has any and esp. that little yorkie needs healing not only physically but mentally as well.

My son is 19 and was totally horrified when I showed him this article.

I have two little yorkies and the thought of some one like him walking the streets is no worse than letting a child molester walk the streets. He needs some serious jail time.

I hope there is enough publicity on this to make the courts take harsh action on him. He is truely evil.

I cannot believe someone could really be that gross and do something THAT HORRIBLE to a little dog!!! This person is not in their right mind. That little pup is so innocent and now she is probably not going to be able to trust anyone because of him. I am writing my letter right now and sending it out tomorrow. I hope the judge gives him a real sentence or penalty and not just a "dont do it again". WOW some people make me SICK!! I wish the pup and her family only the best and I hope they can overcome this hard time.
