[News] Posh wants to put pet pooch through 'doggy boot camp'! Posh wants to put pet pooch through 'doggy boot camp'! From our ANI Correspondent London, July 24: Victoria Beckham is planning on sending her pet pooch to 'doggy boot camp' to stop it from messing up her brand new home. Posh and hubby David Beckham's Yorkshire terrier Twiggy is still spending time in quarantine after arriving from Madrid, Spain, but Posh admits that she's not looking to have the pooch back in the house. The singer even admitted that though she would have been more than glad to leave Twiggy behind when they moved to the US, the only reason the four-legged friend accompanied them during the move was because their her sons love the dog. But Posh is adamant that once Twiggy is out of quarantine, she will be going straight to boot camp for dogs. "Twiggy's in quarantine for the next six weeks. I'm not that keen on having the dog at all but the boys love it," The Sun quoted Posh, as saying. "As soon as it gets here I'm going to send it to a boot camp for dogs as it keeps peeing and pooing everywhere," she added. Becks officially made his debut for new club LA Galaxy on Saturday, when he played against old rivals Chelsea. However, fans had to wait quite a while to see him on the field, for he only came in the last part of the second half since he was nursing an injury. Copyright Dailyindia.com/ANI |
Okay, this just Pxxxxsed me OFF! Six weeks quarantine and then doggy boot camp? I'd pee on her new carpet too!!! |
I agree with you |
That poor baby why doesn't she just find it a new home the kids can't be missing it that much if it in quarentine now and then off to doggie boot camp. |
What is quarantine? What does it mean if the dog is there, is it safe? Poor baby |
When all pets travel to another country, they have to be quarintined,to make sure they are not bringing in diseases etc.:( |
Ok. I knew I didn't care for her. Poor unloved baby! |
at least she admitted it and plans on doing something to insure that she can live along side it. So she is not a pet person, at least her son is and at least the boot camp people will be able to address the problem. I have seen a few bootcamp type shows and at least the dogs getting trains so maybe a trained dog can win her heart... We don't know that SHE was the one to buy the dog in the first place, maybe David did and its something she didn't want but now has to tolerate, and i think she at least planned a way to deal with the issues she has. |
You're right. Let's hope that once it's trained, maybe she will grow to love it. |
You do have a point there. Here's praying that it works out for that little one. |
Hmm, that's odd, her Yorkie was in her reality show which aired on NBC last week. At the time, the Yorkie was in California already and was shown around the house, so it's odd that it mentions a six week quarantine. |

Just sad....very upsetting!!! Boooooo :cry8: |

You cant get mad at her if she wasnt the one that purchased it and happned not to be a dog lover but got stuck with the responibility gbecause it was a gift to her son. My neighbor reffers to my Yorkie as an it, but I i am not mad at her. To me its just that we don't really know what circumstances lead to her living with the dog. IF my husband was as sexy as David...and was like honey , but our son loves that dog let him keep it, i would be like "YESSSSSSSSS BABY CAKES whatever u say but that doesn't mean i have to like the darn thing." he so sexy he could get whatever he wanted from me |
Posh must be brain damaged. |

Also, animals in the states that are thought to be sick (rabies, parvo, ect.) are put into quarantine. |
One of my best friends just moved from USA to Ireland and she didn't have to quarantine her dog (a tibetan terrier). She certainly had to jump through tons of hoops what with shots, and certificates, etc. - and it cost her three times as much to bring her dog to Ireland as it did for her to move there - but no quarantine at all because she researched the whole thing ahead of time and found out what she had to do to prevent a quarantine. |
Poor puppy :( Did she even try to potty train the dog? |

Wow, she is really lucky. When I moved to Japan, My cat had a 6 week In-Home quarantine. Which was really nice! I know that when I go back to the US my pets won't have quarantine time because they were in military vet care the whole time. So, I am REALLY happy about that. |
well unfortuantely, dogs coming from certain other countries are required by law to be in quarantine for x amount of time before they may go home with their owners. That's exactly what made me reconsider moving to Hawaii. I couldn't put my dogs through the quarantine period. It'd kill me. |
my question is ..how old is Twiggy and if she was doing all this while at their last home, why didn't she get a trainer for the yorkie??? Its not like she can't afford a live in trainer!! That is truly uncalled for!!!! They should have a test for pet owners to see if they are qualified before owning one!!!!:( |
The quarentine is probably necesarry.. as for the doggy boot camp.. I'm not a fan of it but I heard that it does wonders.. it all depends on your view of it.. its just another training technique. |
