[News] Lost Therapy Yorkie Reunited with Owners in Seattle 1 Attachment(s) :) :) :) SEATTLE - A certified "emotional support" dog has been reunited with its owners after being lost in Seattle two days ago. "Gatsby" is a 4.5-pound Yorkshire Terrier who was certified by a doctor as a support animal for Bruce and Sharon Gallagher. The dog helped the couple deal with depression following the death of their youngest son two years ago. The Gallaghers are from Colorado and were in Seattle visiting their other son. On Christmas Eve, Gatsby found the doggy door and ran off into unfamiliar surroundings of the University District. A Seattle woman who lived about a mile away found the dog the same night but could not read the tag on Gatsby's collar. When the story of the missing dog was broadcast on the news Monday evening the woman realized that it was the same dog and called the Gallaghers, who were reunited with Gatsby a short time later. Bruce said that Gatsby had been well taken care of and was even given a bath. "We are just so happy that Seattle stepped forward in helping find our dog," he said. http://www.komotv.com/stories/40955.htm |
