My furkids love the Canine Carry outs chicken flavor, it says it's made with real chicken, it only that it is distributed by Del monte in Ca. It really don't say were it was made.:( My god , am I not to feed them these ????This is not the first time, we see problems with stuff made outside the USA. bark@ulater!!!!! manina, miley, max, rei rei, rudy |

bummer.. I just looked at the ones I have from our local natural food store and they are also made in china though they are packaged in the USA by a US based company.. These are labeled "organic" I wonder now that I've noticed the super small print saying made in china if even that is true.. |
Sam's Club also sells them that are made in China.... large bag and they're usually on an end cap in easy reach. :( |
Thank you to Babygirl Rosie for posting the recipe. I am going to do this at home, it look like it will cost a small fraction of the pre-made treats. I wish it were so easy to stop buying all things made in China. |

I have been giving Chloe Chicken Strips from Celebrity which advertises its company as canadian. They state that the chicken is all natural blah blah blah. I have found a few comments that give me the impression that they are produced in China but that the company has strict manufacturing policies. In otherwords, Made in China and going in the garbage!! I dont care what a company says if they are making the product in China the bottom line is they are cutting costs and that said I dont trust them to make healthy choices when it comes to my little girls well being. Thankfully she hasnt had any of the health issues that are associated with Fanconi's. Seems like there are more and more companies producing products that cause health scares with our furbabies. I am really starting to think of making all her food and treats myself. Thanks SO MUCH for the information. Tina and Chloe |
The last couple mornings my Hunter (Yorkie) won't touch his waggin train chik'n biscuits - which all three of my dogs absolutely love. this morning my little yorkie threw up after eating hers - she is only 3 pounds. I double checked the bag (which I did before I started purchasing them) - and it has an address in the U.S. - but then thanks to an fda post, I saw in tiny writing 'made in china'. I'm returning the new bags I just got to Walmart - unbelievable. Now I'll pray that they haven't done permanent damage - from now on, I'm making their treats! |
I was in Costco today and saw so many people buying the Chicken strips there that are made in China. I warned a few people, Some put it back but others looked at me like I was crazy. Trader Joes makes a great one that is made in the US. |
Grrr..... I have more than 12(32oz) bags of Dog's well chicken strips and its been regular treat for my babies!!!!:( I can\'t even give them away to shelters.... what a waste! |
