Things like this always make me wonder if God and Devil are the same thing.

Can we all pleas put our violins away and excusing this women for her crime due to her "mental health". Ive studied psychology, and the only illness which could of made her do that without having control is schizophrenia. In which case she would be closely monitered by a mental health team. If she did have schizophrenia she shouldn't have been responsibility over a goldfish let alone a dog. If the victim of this crime had of been a child she would of got the punishment she deserved but even in this day and age crimes against animals are treated as minor offences.

Im currently studying a law degree, my reason for this is because i want to fight to change laws on animal welfare. I have suffered from ocd since the age of 10 where i am constantly plagued with intrusive thoughts about germs and contamination. But my dogs are my whole life and i would never harm a hair on their innocent little heads. Too many people use mental health as an excuse for their behavior. When i first read this article i wondered if it was witchcraft due to it being close to haloween.

This should never of happened, The spca should be given more funding and more legal powers to intervene before an incident like this happens. Lets be honest, the government spends billions of £s/$s on weapons so why cant they spend more on animal welfare. We live in a world where peoples priorities are wrong. Too many people are concerned with superficial things, when animals can teach us so much about love and hapiness yet so many people don't treat them with the respect they deserve

I'm deeply very sad for Bobo. Mental illness is just an excuse. This women should be punished severely. I'm very angry that this thing happens.



Those who treated badly their dogs, should be banned to have dogs in the future. That's why I do really hope that dog mills will be closed. Here in Europe starting from 2009, dog shops can't place the dogs anymore in their shop, they can only, as far as I know, sell by showing the pics. Well this is also no good coz it will not solve the problems.

I hope oneday all the dog mills will be all closed.

I hope also that in the future there will organisations which organize a visit to every dog's owners just to make sure that the owners treat their dogs well. So my idea is every dog owner should be visited every 6 month for example just to make sure that no animal cruelty happens.

Wish that this woman will never have any dog for good and that she will be treated badly in the jail so she can feel the pain of Bobo.

Can people please not have dogs if they will not love them and care for them.

This person want stringing up for what she put the poor thing thought.She should have neever been allowed a pet in the first place if that what she did to her other pets.
The dog was the love of her life its a load of bull if she loved the poor thing like she said she did. Then she would have not done what she did it made me sick to my stomach just thinking and reading what it said.Please please let us know if the yorkie get well enough to go to people that will love and cherish it like it should hav e been in the first place.Dogs and other animals have feelings to just like adults

I've studied psychology also, though I am not a pro and have only been taking my college courses yes a mental illness could have caused her to do the horrible thing she did. BUT. Did everyone read where Bobo was 6 YEARS OLD. That means for 6 years this woman has had this dog in her care. There is no excuse. Maybe this is why I would make a bad social worker or psychologist but in my own opinion there is no excuse for what she's done. People would be outraged if it was a child she harmed instead of a Yorkie. To some a yorkie is just an annoying yapping mutt. To us a Yorkie is much more then that. All yorkie owners know this. The way the world looks at tragedy today is unexplainable. Look at the mother who drove her car off a bridge with her children in the backseat and left them to drown and calls in her car stolen. She got off due to her "mental illness". STUPID!!! What about the woman who was married and killed all 6 of her children with her bare hands? And knowing her oldest knew what she was going to do to them and were terrified.. Again she got off of charges for "mental illness" and her ex husband forgave her for murdering her children all 6 of them. It is discusting. There are no words to describe what really is felt. Back in the good ole days you never heard of crap like this happening... I am discusted at the way people have turned out and what harm they are causing on our animals and our children. People need to open their eyes and take a stand and stop letting innocent children and pets be the blunt of someone's misery, hate, discust, their need to inflict pain and death onto someone or something else. Pets and children are innocent. Their deaths should not be thrown away as caused of death is due to the mental illness of their parents or owners. Its an excuse our society today uses to sweep it under the door mat and forget about it.
