dry skin and lusterless looking coat i was wondering what i shampoo/conditioner to use to make is coat shinny and his skin not so dry. |
Ok well first of all, what are you feeding him? |
.. same problem that my puppy is having..dry itchy irritated skin. i have tried everything to help him its just not working. changed his food, took him to the vet and he gave me some omega, fatty acids but its still there |
I first thing I would try for a dull coat is fish oil and vitamin e since it worked for Ellie. |
Not sure about the skin but the coat Zoe's coat is extremly shiny ever since we put her on salmon oil or missing links...she gets compliments from strangers for her shiny coat. |
Well we were feeding him science diet, until i read many posts saying that is not that good. We are current feeding him blue buffalo dry dog food only. We tried wet food ( evo) but he would be vomiting off and on. can you tell me where to by this fish/salmon oil? thanks Paul |
any health food store :) |
From any health store, make sure you also give vitamin e though because they use it to process the oil. |
Thanks for all the helpful comments about dry, itchy skin. |
I'm a big fan of Missing Link. My Shepherds always had the most beautiful coats and I can already tell a difference in Lucy's since I started her on it. |
We are Missing Link fans here as well! Both of my girls had dull coats and itchy skin before we started using it. They're gorgeous and itch less now:thumbup: |
we just started linatone ..shiny coat. and we also use super5supplement from wellness. http://www.lambertkay.com/products/p...aspx?Prod_ID=1 |
