Very Concerned, Ellie has bumps.
 
I don't know what they are and I don't know where they came from. She has about 4 or 5 little lump-bumps under her skin by her lower nipples. I had noticed 1 or 2 about a week ago but thought maybe a bites. They aren't extremely prominent, so maybe they are just part of her? They are by the two lowest nipples on her left side. I can't feel any on her right side. Is this normal? Am I panicking for nothing? They are not visible or painful.

I don't have a digital camera.:( Besides there is nothing to see. They are invisible. Her skin looks normal. On second inspection I found one on her right side but it is very small. That one and a few on the left I think are just part of her. There are about three on the left side though that are bigger and one is entirely too close to her nipple (with her not being spayed). Maybe it is just a rash. The vet is going to call within a few days on test results and if you guys think it is important, I will run it by her. I just don't want to pay $38 for an office call for her to tell me that it is nothing when we have been there so much lately.

hmm... my first suggestion (if you think they are not getting bigger) is to use a sharpie marker or something and draw on her belly where they are, keep checking to see if more pop up or if those ones go away and other ones appear.. if you had to compare them to something how big would you say they are?? the size of a pea?? i know i am able to call my vet and ask an opinion without having to go in. Can you jsut call and say.. hey this is what's going on what do you think ti might be... i also know if you call an oncall vet (or emerg vet) the often try and diagnoise you over the phone. Also i would try and look it up online and see what you can come up wiht. I would probably me MORE worried if it was one big bump but a bunch of little ones ... not sure...

You can use sharpie on a dog...interesting. The main one is just smaller than a pea. Someone else looked at them for me. When the skin is lifted the bump is clearly underneath. It is also quite hard. It has to be looked at. I am so worried now.:(

well better safe than sorry! we worry a lot with these little guys and usually it is nothing. I'll be thinking of you! let me know what happens
