Flying United With Your Pet I Am Flying To Wahington With One Stop On United Airlines, They Will Check Henry Inside The Cabin, But I Cannot Keep Him With Me. I Have Family That Will Stay With Henry, I Will Be Gone Foe 12 Days. I Would Miss Him But Wondering If The Flight Might Be Too Much For Him, Since He Cant Sit With Me. He Has Not Been Away Fom Me More Than One Night. Need Advice About This Airline And Pets, And About Leaving Him Gb |
If your carrying him on inside the cabin, he will be with you just under the seat??? I am confused as to why you think you cant keep him with you if he will be in the cabin... check in and carry on are two different things... you may wanna make sure call and make a reservation to get ur baby on with you CARRY ON IN CABIN. make sure you have an airline approved carrier as well. like a celti or sherpa |
This probably doesn't apply to this particular trip, but for anyone flying out of the continental US (IE; Hawaii), make sure that your dog can go with you in the cabin BOTH ways. I think that on the way THERE from here, the dog has to fly in cargo, but on the way back to the continent they can fly in the cabin. I have a friend who takes his dog with him back and forth all the time that way, but I can't imagine Max going in cargo for any amount of time:eek: . |
Hmm...not sure I understand bc if you're bringing him in the cabin, he would stay right under your seat... |
Yes if they said you can bring them in the cabin it means he can sit under your seat. Make sure you make your reservations for enough in advance and that you have the right size carrier. |
My husband and I fly United cross-country (Philly to San Francisco) all the tim and we are always able to take both of our babies with us. You have to put them in air-line aproved containers...sherpa bags or whatever...and make a reservation for them. The cost is either $85 or $90, can't remember. Then your babies can be right at your feet under the seat in front of you! |
