Carrots
 
A healthy snack that most vets will agree on is raw carrots......start them young and they'll love em!!! My older one has been used to super thin slices w flax or olive oil so that's the only way she'll eat them and if they're a tad to thick she spits them out (my fault for spoiling) but the young ones love them plain and any size. If you have an older yorkie and they don't care for them add a bit of oil....it's good for their coat anyway...you just don't want to add too much if you're concerned about their weight.

Yea! I thought mine were the only ones at loved carrots. They go crazy when they see me cutting some for dinner.;)

I can't get Lacy to eat any fruits or veggies as a treat. Her raw food has then mixed in with it. The only thing I've seen her eat was a blueberry on top of her birthday cupcake

Monday used to eat carrots, cauliflower and broccoli ... after 2 days her poop was orange tinted .:2omg:.. it was funny.
Now that I have both the girls on dry food, I do not want to confuse them.

Mr. Biggs loves them! I usually give him 2 baby carrotts at night when I'm making dinner :)

Chibi chan loves carrots! He too gets really excited when I'm cutting some. When I give him a piece he plays with the it, wagging his tail until he finally eats it! :D

Milli loves carrots too, but Emma can take or leave them unless they're mixed into her food.

They both also love green beans, lettuce, sweet potatoes, frozen peas, and most fruits too!

HAHA. . . yes, mine are like that as well, they love fruit also. My mother has a yorkie and her wont go near any of that stuff. Yet he goes nuts when he sees mcdonalds bags. They dont feed him that stuff but if one lands on the floor its gone. :eek:
