Pixie has runny poo! She seems fine in herself though...still running around playing and not lost her apetite..should i be doing anything to help her tummy? or do you think it will just run its course? She has scrambled eggs and a little goats milk in the morning..meat and her kibble at luchtime, same again at dinner and some chicken in the evening..this is what her breeder was feeding her and i haven't tried to change anything just yet. i'm a worried new mummy! |
Hmmm, Louie had loose poopie today too, but I think his was either because my husband gave him some honeycomb cereal this morning or because I have just changed their food from merricks to avangers.......if you didnt change the food recently or do anything differant, maybe your baby just has a little upset tummy or something......I have heard to give them more bland food like maybe plain white rice and dry chicken or carrots even until their tummy's settle a little. Good luck and I hope that nothing is wrong....maybe want to call your vet and just let them know what is going on too, and they may have some tips for you. Good luck... Tami |
If she is very young, she could have coccidia, please take her to your vet immediately and put her on albon. Marsha |
How long have you had her and how old is she? Has she been to the vet lately? You could feed some canned pumpkin and some yogurt to help her system. |
She's 16 weeks on monday...she is forever eating things in the garden! i'm always running outside to pull something out of her mouth! she's not being sick at all or lost her apetite and she's very lively and happy..its just the last 3 days or so..sometimes looks quite runny..other times just 'soft' i'll keep a close eye on things over the next day or two and if no improvement i'll take her in to our vet. I may reduce her meat and give her more of her kibble.. |
