Bad Breath/ Teeth Lucy has some "kickin" breath. I have seen a lot of posts on double teeth and that it can cause the bad breath. Lucy has retained a lot of her baby teeth and she is now 7 months (especially in the top front) The question I have is if anyone has seen a dramatic improvement in bad breath after the baby teeth have been removed. She is supposed to go to the Vet in a few weeks to get her teeth check and more than likely scheduled to be removed. |
I noticed a difference in Chachis breath after having the teeth pulled |
teeth Definately get those baby teeth pulled. They can cause infected gums and push the adult teeth out of alignment and gonga breath!!Lynn |
I thought Zoey was done teething, then teeth started falling out at 6 months. When does it end? She is getting spayed and chipped tomorrow. I would hate to have her put under again at a later date just to pull baby teeth. |

Bacteria grows when the food is stuck inbetween the teeth. The food actually rots in the mouth. This is not a good situation and the baby teeth should be taken out while she is having her spay. No more odor and she will be kissably sweet. ;) |
Extra teeth & bad breath My Samson had two of everything in his mouth, except for 2 tongues! I waited it out, brushing daily, giving chew sticks, both regular beefhide and breath-freshening ones. He's a big boy now at at 15 months, all the extras are gone and he has a beautiful bite. |
