Seaweed/kelp are so good for us and our pets, so I'm sure it's a great product. It wouldn't take the place of a multi, in my opinion. And, I don't think it would act as a calcium supplement, as the bone meal would. Does it say it contains calcium? |
thank you very much for answering . so you think that it is good for the yorkies ? it does not contain calcium , but i am going to order the solid gold bonemeal and solid gold seameal. i guess you can give both plus a multi vitamin. do you know of any good multi vitamins to give? oh, i give missing link too. thanks again |
I would not give missing link AND solid gold seameal...They are basically the same thing :) |

I use a multi that eliminates the need for the sea meal and the missing link - so I don't think you'd want to use the one I use if you're going to use the sea meal for the "vitamin" portion and the missing link. |
thanks for the info. i will not order seameal, but can i get the solid gold bonemeal and still give missing link and multi vitamin? i think calcium is missing from his diet. i am also giving him cosequin , and do you know if cosequin is the same as giving bonemeal? i am just confused. |
I don't think cosequin and bonemeal are the same thing. You can give bonemeal, missing link, and multi-vitamin depending on which one you get. |
thanks for answering, do you know of a good multi vitamin? right now i give him super vita chews from 1800petmeds. i have read many good things about cosequin, and since he has dislocating knee caps, i was going to start him on the cosequin for cats. |
I don't give multivitamins, so maybe someone else on here knows of a good one?? I use the Healthy Powder Mix and add Vitamin E and Vitamin B-complex to the recipes and eggshells or bonemeal for calcium. |
